Yes, Collier committed to Texas as an 8th grader.

In Spring 2015 (9th grader), she decommitted and opened up her recruitment. She remained uncommitted for about 18 months. She attended summer camps at Baylor, Kansas, Tennessee, and Louisville (or Kentucky).

She visited UConn unofficially in October 2016. She then commits to UConn a month later.

On a personal level, her father died about a year ago after a battle with cancer. And, recently, Hurricane Harvey struck the Houston area; although her home was not affected, she did volunteer helping folks affected by the floods. She has mentioned many times (in interviews) how close she is with her Mom and brother, and of course, how close she was with her father.

I could see her picking Texas (or one of the other Texas schools)

Would be nice if she gave us a look her and MiMi Collins (our recruit) are very close friends

If it is her, and if the rumor's are true, emotionally and socially Austin would be the best spot. I was thinking that with Holmes (Sophomore) , Boothe (Freshman), White (Junior))and the addition of Prince (incoming freshman) it WILL get crowded though. Holmes and Boothe are incredible, and Collier coming in as a freshman will be behind them talent wise. White and Prince - it will be really interesting to see how a coach could keep all happy. Texas just played 3 exhibition games in Italy and came out 2-1. White started and had double doubles in two of the games I believe, so I expect this season (and next) White will be a major part of the rotation.

Christyn Williams of Arkansas is currently scheduled to visit Texas officially on 10/6 and UConn on 10/13. Now that Charli Collier has set her official visit to Texas for 10/20, will be interesting to see if Christyn re-schedules her official to the week after her UConn visit.

What do you mean Charli scheduled a visit to Texas on 10/20? Did she decommit?

Yes; she announced her decommitment from UConn and commitment to Texas via twitter at around noon Central time.

She decommitted privately prior to today.

13 listed on the website - Holmes comes back in December so they will have 14 person roster. They have 3 seniors, to they will have 11 players next year. They have 5 commits for 2018. You can only have 15.

Christyn Williams is considering them, I wonder if this puts them even more out of contention with her? Leaving just USC, UCONN, UCLA and us?

Uconn is in dangerous of not landing a top 25 recruit for 2018. Good news for us and the rest of the field. I feel the Uconn dynasty is fading.

That's 6 commits for 2018 now, that's a total of 17 players for 2018-2019 season?

Texas two redshirt juniors (Jatarie White and Khaleann Caron-Goudreau); I have no clue if either or both is set to return to Texas for their fifth year of eligibility. Khaleann's twin sister, Audrey-Ann is a senior this coming season, so she will definitely be departing. Would make sense if Khaleann decides to move on with her twin; she has had many injuries at Vanderbilt and then at Texas.

Egbo and Ododa at Florida State this weekend. I hope they both sign! Don't want to see either of them twice a year! 😈

Which schools are the run for Ododa and Egbo?

Florida State graduates both centers this year and have River Baldwin for the class of 19. I could see Ododa going to Florida State. Florida State has 4 guards signed up for the class of 18.

I looked at Baylor's roster and they will have 10 players in 2018 and no centers/posts, so I could see Egbo going to Baylor. Miss. State already have 2 posts with verbals for 2018

No Center/posts “verbals”? Because Lauren cox will be there and it will be there 6’7” senior year.

Per Raoul
At least one of FSU's 2018 commits will also be taking her official visit this weekend—Morgan Jones, an AAU teammate of Olivia Nelson-Ododa.
