LSU went in 2007 with two losses, but Ohio State was the only team with one loss, so a two loss team inevitably had to get in. LSU weren't selected over a more-deserving team.

And when was Alabama even close to being selected with 2 losses? Name a year.

If another teams has 1 loss they are more deserving. I'll tell you something else. College ball doesn't do mulligans. Rematches are bullchit. I think I might try my best to take a break this season. I've seen it all before anyway. I'm getting too old for this mess. Browns game tonight...

Rematches have happened in conference title games, bowl games, and national championship games on multiple occasions. College football does mulligans just fine.

Remotely.


After Alabama lost its third game to Auburn at the end of the season in 2010, no one said anything about them playing in any sort of title game.
