Don't see it. I can understand the skepticism. UT of late has shown flashes only to fade in the last halves but new seasons should start new optimism. The players have earned that.

pulled this win out of their rear ends. I must have been watching a different game. Maybe we should have won by 4 TD's..i don't disagree with that...but I'll take this win with a few things to work on and improve. Have you watched any preseason NFL games? For a first game, I'm fairly pleased. Plenty to work on but plenty to be excited about. Not saying we're winning a national title, but don't think anybody was predicting that.

there is no possible way to know that. Each team has only played one game. I don't disagree that we should think that this makes us a top 10 team, but this was a good win and could provide this team with positive momentum.

I didn't say because we beat them they're bad. They're just not that good of a team IMO. Did we or did we not leave at least 3 TD's on the board? I'm not knocking the win, hell I almost hit the score perfect. We did what I thought we would do. I think if we played them in 2 weeks we'd hang 50 on them.

If we get that td before halftime and Hunter doesn't drop those two passes and kill the drives then this very well could of been a complete blowout. The way we were moving the ball we would of gotten some kind of points off those two drives. NC st is lucky the vols didn't drop 50 on them. OP isn't impressed tho.

Nobody tried to check your man card buddy. Everyone (and I mean everyone) just knows you're being unnecessarily negative about a 14 point win over a good team.

How is it, we just beat a fringe top 25 team, by 14 points, and half of our fanbase is having to defend our team against the other half? Makes sense.

21 years of service and counting for me pal and your glass is definitely half empty. We were sloppy at times but this was a good foundation we will build on and everyone on here knows we will have to play better in the SEC jerk. How about we enjoy a win and let the coaches clean up the mistakes? GBO!

I didn't say this wasn't a good win. And I'm going off what I've seen in person. I've seen them both play and I'd pick Vandy to beat them by a TD. I hate Vandy but that doesn't change what I've seen. We should beat Vandy by 2 tdks at least. But I think Vandy beats NCSU.
