Not Impressed

We will of sobered up tommorrow, but you will still be a dumb ass........

Let's compare college transcripts (you pompous ass).

I try to simply point out my game observations, and everyone wants to pile on.

The empirical truth is that we have the players, but we don't have the play-calling ability to win the SEC East. Done and out.

a fan is unimpressed with what he/she saw out of us tonight and we nail him to the cross. Silly.

Those transcripts were achieved by sitting in the back of a classroom letting your parents pay for your tuition weren't they? Probably had earrings and long hair too. Durr

Our play calling is suspect. The real match up was our running backs (or tight ends) against the NC State linebackers; we failed to exploit this advantage. We should have beat this team by 3 touchdowns.

Initially, I thought that we would have 10 wins this season; now, I say that we will be lucky to win 8.

We have the players, we just don't have the ability to exploit opportunities...and that is coaching.

Over 500 yards of O against a decent team with a good bit of experience... means the OC called a bad game?

You are actually right about something but wrong about drawing any new conclusion from it. NCSU got several good bounces. The Bray fumble was one. Hunter dropped 3 passes one of which would have put UT in scoring position... was that somehow playcalling to trust JH to make a play? The safety could have easily bounced UT's way into a TD. Glennon fumbled into the arms of one of his OL's just before they scored one of their TD's. Had the ball bounced just a little different and had Hunter been himself... You're looking at a 47-14 game or even 54-14 win.

There are mistakes to correct but UT looked much better than Vandy or USCe... so did NCSU for that matter.

When we move into conference play, you will understand the intent of my post. Check back then.

Uuummmm u must be the greatest coach player to have every played the game ya we left some points on the field but win by 2 tds soulda been 2 or 3 more so ehhhhh im good with that mister football god

Assume you are joking, this is the number 2 team in ACC, we should have won by more than 20 If not for bad play calls by Chaney.

Need work on running game, but doing 4 picks against on of top 10 QBs in the nation. 5th year senior, makes good decisions..etc.. Was impressive. It means Sals defense worked as expected. No more sitting back...go and get them and see what happens.

Bad play calling or poor execution at times? I kind of felt like we did what we wanted to do when we wanted to do it. 540 yards and 35 points, should have been 42 points tells me that.

Simple. I watched them both play in person. We left 3 TD's on the board. NCSU is not that good of a team. That's not a knock on us at all just reality. I said before the game that NCSU didn't belong on the field with us. The score I picked was 38 to 20. After seeing them in person the score should havbe been a LOT more.

The score very well could have been more lopsided. JH dropped more passes than I've seen him drop total in his career prior to tonight. The 3 most notable ones would have pushed Bray toward 400. One would have put UT in the red zone.

If the safety fumble bounces just a little different, there's 7.

If Bray hangs on or finds a better seam, there's 7.

If the ball doesn't bounce right out of Glennon's hand to one of his OL's, there's 7 more. It could have very easily have been 47-14.

But the other side of that is that UT had some bad things go against them and didn't fold like they did at times last year.

There's also the possibility that the wound of losing DR is still closing. He was a big part of fall practice. You can't just compensate in one week after losing that kind of player. I think that bodes well for them getting even better going forward.

I can fill my cup (and yours too). I served eight years in the USMC (did you serve?).

My point is that our players pulled this win our of their rear ends (no help from play calling). This will not be enough in the SEC. BTW, we play in the SEC.

I don't care how many years you served *** man gay your a doucebag.

LOL. OP is definately a troll, or the most negative person on this board.

We won, and we looked good. Time to be happy.

GBO!

Hahahahaha @ you

This game wasn't close by any means and the Vols left a lot of points off the board they shouldn't have
