Just another hater who hates CDD more than he loves TN.
I think they looked better tonight than they have in a long time. Especially defense. Loved the pressure they put on the QB pretty much whole game and they had a running game tonight. Marlin Lane played especially well. More north and south running and not east-west.

you know what? we won. we won a game that people thought we would lose, and won it by 2 touchdowns. It wasn't perfect, but games are never perfect.

On the other hand...

Tackling and kick coverage were very good (except that one where Palardy made the stop).

Very minimal penalties. Tiny jumped twice in his first real game action.

3rd down conversions were pretty strong.

We rotated a lot of players. These guys will need experience over the course of the season.

Against a highly touted secondary, Bray didn't come close to an INT.

I'm currently serving and you are still a moron. I would be willing to bet a lot of people on here have served or are currently, so since that cards been played got anything else. An online degree or maybe a couple years as an Eagle scout?

Some of you will never be flipping satisfied, seriously I was impressed last night based of how we've been the last few years. Just go root for another team. Tennessee will have a good year this year. There's a lot to be excited about, it's the first game and you have no idea what the heck you're talking about. Bye.

I just don't see how you can watch that first game and decrease your expectations on the year. Was an overall great showing on a big stage.

1. Bray scored on the sneak. It was wrong move by Bray but he broke the plain. (There's your third touchdown)
2. Defense had adjustment issues in first half and responded in second half. Pressure from front 7 all night long.

3. Due to new kickoff rules, it hurt our ability to set up better field position. (They were scared of DY)

4. Dooley is about sticking to the plan that was scripted before. We didn't throw to Rivera because Patterson and Hunter were open all night (qb's first choices) Although, Hunter has a little rust but looked great.

5. Its ok to be devil's advocate but they covered a predicted spread, really won by 3 scores (Bray's sneak) and I really think defense will only get better.

Ps: they picked off a great quarter back 4 times with 1 being at end of game. We will be fine....

9 wins........but we have the ability to win them all.
