We all know what you meant?
If I called someone an idiot, then I owe them an apology. Link?
That was my point. I was asking what your point was.
I need to go back and read the original post, or maybe you do, because I don't think that's what I read.
Why can't you discuss it? I'll discuss it with you right now.
I agree that: UGA's running game gashed us all night and it was, in fact their third string guy, doing it. Their offense looked much more physical running the football than did our defense. I'm honestly surprised they didn't run it more at times, but you can't argue with putting the ball in Murray's hands either.
The slant routes were a huge issue earlier. I'm not really sure what to say about it. Like you, I noticed it. I think it's partly due to some of our inherent weaknesses on defense, although we seemed to do a better job in the second half. What's your take?
I'll have to go back and look at where you're referencing with our linebackers, but if I understand you correctly, I think I noticed the same thing at Florida. I might be able to offer more insight once I've had a chance to watch the replay. Again, what's your take? Do you see this as a fundamental issue with the defensive scheme or missed assignments?
While we're on defense, I'll offer another critique. Our staff still needs to do a better job getting the plays in from the sidelines. I noticed it happening again yesterday. This is a bit concerning because it's a recurring issue not that we've had issues with since Oregon.
On the last drive, they had a senior quarterback who's one of the best in the league, at the helm. You have to like his chances in that situation, against anyone, not just us. At the time, I thought to myself that we needed an interception or at least a sack to stop them, but we weren't able to get either. Obviously the pass to the tailback to the sidelines killed us, and again, it's that sideline speed that continues to rear it's ugly head and present problems week after week.
Your turn.
