'20 NV ILB Vai Kaho (San Diego State commit)

Haven't pored over your posts. I could translate the Dead Sea Scrolls into Mandarin in the time it'd take.

I don't repeat my takes unless solicited by smartassery as I was today.

Don't know why my Eason over Kaho preference is weird. Guys have been pushed out to make room before. And according to this thread Kaho is for sure a Vol.

Agree on Haynes King. Thought it was a waste to pursue him.

An "attack" is a harsh word for a bunch of dweebs on a forum banding together on somebody. If I've ever called it that it was poor usage.

Glad you're able to keep such perspective. But hey with all those posts do you have problems with carpel tunnel? What sort of medicated cream do u recommend for the pain?
I wouldn't recommend the brand you’re using to compensate for a lack of companionship. You’re a very fragile, easily offended sort. You don’t belong here. These guys are the ones you find in a sports bar...they smell weakness and unicorn blood. You’re like a cheer camper who wandered into a maximum security prison.

Or in your case, behind the computer. All day long.

Crouch didn’t because of “best players on the field” concept with Bituli and Henry there. It’s been reported he’s locked in at ILB now during bowl prep to see jf he can take over for Bituli. I wish he’d go play RB. I don’t see it with him on D but I know it’s early. His lateral movement is awful.
I bet 10 ecreds that if crouch moves to inside lb he will be listed at 240 pounds or less on the 2020 fall roster. By the way, Reuben foster is currently listed at 228 pounds on his nfl roster.

I’ll take the ecred bet. Crouch won’t be under 240. Henry will be right at 240 himself. He’s got huge legs but could add 10lb easy in upper body.

JP coaching ILB at Bama practice. Not a single one of these dudes is 6’ 215 to 220. Not saying they have to be 265 but longer framed 6’2 to 6’4 and 235 to 250 or so is it. Depends on frame Sleegro. 6’4 250 doesn’t look the same as 6’ 250. Bituli to me is prototypical ILB with long arms, bulk on the frame and some height to see into the backfield and adjudicate plays....

Ha hey, I love this stuff man. And yes they generally are pretty good. I remember bashing Luginbill for his scout on K. McKenzie. He was the only one who wasn’t as high on him and turned out to be pretty spot on. I would’ve loved to see him on OL for 4 years but his camps at DT were some of the best camp highlights I’ve ever seen so as much as Butch screwed up on position stuff I can’t blame him on that one.
that entire situation was a mess looking back on it.. I would have loved to see this staff with the wave of legacies butch and co. had .. but I'm comfortable with Pruitt and co. Their ability to develop is showing in spots.. the big knock on butch was taking highly rated guys simply for the team ranking. We sit with 7 spots (potential of 8-10) and Pruitt may not catch butch.. that concern is shallow.. the benefit is even greater with player development in both the short and long term..

Our best players under Butch weren’t legacies.

Every one of them is between 225 and 240. Seriously type "Alabama roster 2017" into Google and click on their roster and show me an inside linebacker in the 2 deep over 240 pounds. And don't say the weights aren't correct because even if that's true they would be higher than the players actually weighed not lower. Which supports my point more.

Here I'll link it for you. Sort by position.

Here is their official depth chart for inside linebacker.

That TX OL is a blueshirt so he gives us ability to sign 26. Never visited, committed sight unseen. I think the long snapper is same boat or PWO. Williamson kid may not stick if we do well down this final leg with a few guys especially in silly season where kids may come available that weren’t before. I think otherwise I’d be shocked if we have more than 1 more change to current commits. I see 8 spots so Baron, Omari, Ox, Jabari, Kaho/Tisdol/Whitehead are ones that immediately come to mind. I think Morven stays in FL. Hardy sticks with Auburn.

I’d love to snag that Mizzou OL decommit after looking at his tape.

I don’t think we’ll ever use blueshirts counting against the next season’s class again. If they utilize it the purpose will be for academic risks. Credit card recruiting serves no benefit. I see Miller as more likely an EE than blueshirt.

Not sure why you keep saying he hasn’t visited.

"The three-star Class of 2020 offensive lineman from West Mesquite (Texas) High School said Sunday that Tennessee is “number one right now” among the schools he’s considering following his official visit with the Vols this weekend."

"It leaves them at number one right now, in my top spot,” said Miller, who’s ranked by 247Sports as the No. 2,387 overall prospect and No. 152 offensive guard in the 2020 class."

"I met all the coaches, met all the players,” Miller said. “The coaches, they’re really nice. I really like them. They talk about support. They talk about how they like their players, how they want their players to do better on and off the field and just keeping them going, keeping them going every day, pushing them harder to do better every day. And their academic levels is pretty nice. I like it. Their coaches, they really showed that they really care about their players on and off the field — not just about, ‘Oh, they’re football players,’ but they care about them as a person and show them respect as a person instead of (just from) a player perspective.”

"The game day, it was actually pretty nice seeing that,” he said. “It was a first-time experience, but it was nice. (I liked) seeing the players walk in and seeing all the coaches actually knowing who I was, and getting a nice view of the game, it was pretty nice.”

"I’ve been hearing from them every two day,” Miller said. “Every two to three days, they’ll check up on me, see how I’m doing, check up on me and my mom, see how we’re doing, making sure that I’m keeping my head straight and all that.”
“(Chaney is) a funny coach, but he keeps everything real. He doesn’t sugarcoat nothing. He lets you know how it is, straight up and straightforward.”

"(Pruitt) just told me to just keep my head straight,” Miller said. “When I come back, he wants to see an improvement from me. He just wants me to do better, just keeping my head straight and just doing what I do best. (Friend) told me just keep doing what I’m doing — just keep being explosive, keep being quick off the ball, all of that.”

"They said they see me playing guard,” he said. “But if I (slim) down, they can see me saying right tackle.” He said exactly where he plays on the offensive line “doesn’t matter to me.”
“It’s just I line up across the ball, and I’m coming at you.” said Miller"

"He’s nice,” Miller said of Morris, a former five-star prospect. “I could see him going to the League. He just said it’s just fun for him. Ever since he came here, the coaches have been taking care of him.”

duuuuude you’re annoying. 2016 Alabama roster from official site... linebackers....

Look at 2016 roster.... linebackers Ryan Anderson 6’2 253, Ben Davis 6’2 237, Terrell Lewis 6’4 247 (as a freshman), Mack Wilson 6’2 245, Anfernee Jennings 6’3 260, Josh Mcmillon 6’3 240, Derrick Garnett 6’3 240..... and I didn’t include Tim Williams at LB because he played the Darrell Taylor role but he was 6’3 250.

Are you using the same Google I am???? Hahaha

SIAP

Kaho tells 247 what Pruitt's message to him is.

“He’s just talking to me a lot about the type of guys that have my type of body and my type of size and the kind of people he’s turned them into, the type of players he’s turned them into, as far as Telvin Smith — even as far as Roquan Smith — and just telling me that I could be playing there, which is definitely a blessing.
