Hope not. I’ve been following recruiting for 14 years and not one recruits has come across as self-centered as this kid. If he were an elite back or Michael Vick I might say he’s worth it but he’s just a slow TE who is overrated because he’s got rare height.

Pruitt is building a blue collar culture of team oriented tough guys. DW doesn’t fit in. Glad he’s a dog. Can’t wait to see Henry flatten him.

He’s self centered because he wanted to wait till the all american game to announce? Where’s the logic? Dude is anything but “slow” or “overrated”.

He’s self-centered because he committed to 4 different schools and, yes, because he wants a super special moment. And yes he is slow, and stiff. He will be an average TE at best.

And since some of you get upset with people speaking in absolutes. I’ll add a JMO

Definitely an odd phenomenon of some people playing up the connected role for internet clout. I’ve been on multiple forums, college and pros, and it is always the case.


Edit: also I don’t remember the username but there was a guy who’d come by randomly from time to time and drop gems. Announced the Anthony Harris commitment last year before there was even a thread on him. Harris committed like 2 hours later. Iirc

He may be a DE. Who knows how he will end his college career. He may wind up 1st round at a couple of positions or be a bust by the time he is a sophomore. Please leave Pruitt a msg and let him know DW is not a take and needs a Git shirt.
