I’d add @MetalVolunteer, @Geaux_Vols, and @skeeter33418. Those guys bring solid info.

Definitely an odd phenomenon of some people playing up the connected role for internet clout. I’ve been on multiple forums, college and pros, and it is always the case.


Edit: also I don’t remember the username but there was a guy who’d come by randomly from time to time and drop gems. Announced the Anthony Harris commitment last year before there was even a thread on him. Harris committed like 2 hours later. Iirc

Yea those may be close. I remember who you are talking about. I think BigGucciSosa said that he is not as close to the program anymore, but of course who knows for sure. I guess I need to remember all this is for fun too, but I just get the itch to calls em hows I sees em, too.

Geaux-Vols is for sure an indicator to be paid attention too, God bless the man. Its almost like a sticky with a "whos who" would be worthwhile. It would change a lot and you could indicate whos hot, mild, or medium.

Then there is a list of worth while posters to follow, based on the information they bring to the board.

Then a list a folks that are funny and offer good commentary.

Then a list of folks that say just enough to keep the thread going, stuff that a lot of us are thinking.

Then something in between.

Then a list of folks to ignore outright.

And so forth...

That’s my issue with Atlanta. I’ve questioned him a couple of times and folks have jumped on me like wolves as if I took a shot at his character. Has nothing do with what kind of guy he is. By all accounts, he’s a great one. What I take issue with is him speaking in absolutes, when he’s turned out to be wrong multiple times.

ATL is tapped in, the reality is that there are no guarantees in recruiting. Period. Ultimately we want him to keep posting. Yet, everything your read on this board should be taken with a grain of salt. Thats life. This board, the red board, the green board, mizzou, vandy, pink, purple, does not matter. Its fluid, like they say. Thats what we get and that is ultimately what makes it fun and miserable at times.

I have found him to avoid the mealy mouth and wishy washy posting methods and posted what he thought was solid info. I am guessing he has not countered his message because as he has followed this epic tail I don't know how anyone can trust ANY information as this kid has become masterful at making it difficult to reach any solid position. Even if he has DEDUCTED the kid is headed elsewhere, why would he come on here and share that only to find out later he was right the first time. The post mortem on this saga should be interesting to see how many people he told he was coming and when did he really sign a valid LOI... I am not sure any coach is confident right now either.... I think GA was if there is any truth to them taking exception with our lead guy communicating with the kid... who knows?

Lastly, his seeming desire to shock the world has me puzzled too. Will he be content to shock the world as part of a multi player bonanza at the game, or does he want to be a lone wolf gong his own way singularly.

I think one of the 2 would be more likely to give in to the other's wants, which would mean either UT or UGA. As much as I would like to see him at UT, if UGA is where he wants to be, then mom should support him.

Makes a bunch of BS promises to recruits. Struggle with derecruitment once they hit campus. Several talented players exit yearly. No production whatsoever from several top150 players. Sounds more like BJ than you think. Take it from Vol fans Rusty

Not in the mood to argue but AVs quote has been reposted several times. He said if a kid says he's coming, he'll post as an absolute even though the kid may not come. Not how I'd handle it but folks whine about it, is stupid.
Especially someone like you that constantly says people should be able to post how they choose.
Talk about hypocritical.

As far as @NotoriousRPP no clue. But we had 1 discussion about his weird need to downplay AV, bad look for someone just wanting to share, imo. Bad enough that I went thru and counted AVs predictions and showed the "wrong more than right" statement was incorrect. So, for him to know information is incorrect and post it again anyway, makes me much more skeptical.
