Giving an answer like "windfarms" to how Obama will stimulate the economy could have something to do with this.

I've already assumed you can't answer. Leaving it alone would serve you best.

So now it's a crime to make over $250,000?

No, not a crime, we just need to thank Barry and Joe for helping us be more "patriotic". Ya know, "step up to the plate", "do our fair share". "it's only fair that those that have, help those that don't".

What is McCain going to do more deregulation maybe something else can collapse.
I will give you that with less regulation there is more opportunity for certain businesses and industries to collapse. However, the allowance for risk is what leads to innovation and growth. When you regulate against risk you regulate against innovation and growth. So, while the economy will most likely not take sudden nosedives from time to time, it will not grow. Instead it will, at best, plateau. Most likely it will steadily decline over the years.

You got Alexander blocking windfarms here in E. TN.
I have not been following the wind farms in East TN issue, however, is Alexander trying to block it? My guess, and I am completely ignorant on this issue, is that Alexander is trying to keep government funds out of the project.

yes. depends on the regulation. Unfettered markets don't work.

I agree. I am all for regulations that require transparency for shareholders, business partners, lenders, and customers, with regards to pretty much every publicly traded institution. However, I am fervently against regulation in which the government can step in and interfere with business dealings between two consenting parties.

Is John Glenn running for president and I didn't know it.I'm sure most of America is not concerned about a 1960's radical when our economy is on the brink because of financial scandals which is exactly what the keating 5 falls under.:good!:
If you are choosing you will take the guy with an (R) behind his name over a (D) anyday anytime and you know it.

I can't speak for others but I am a conservative and after Bush's spending spree I would have most certainly seriously considered a democrat candidate if I thought for one minute he would be a more responsible spender than Bush was. I even looked into him early on hoping to see that in him. But, yet again I was disappointed and while looking into him other more troubling things came to light.

What I don't understand from you and those similar to you is that you go out of your way to find "connections" to Bush and the price of oil or any number of other conspiracies out there with no evidence what so ever. Yet in this case with Obama there is documented evidence of him being involved with people that would pretty much end any other candidates presidential ambitions yet you choose to completely ignore it or believe it to be untrue!

He believes in regulation on wall street to keep Gordon Gecko type greed from destroying the economy.

It was the government putting it's nose where it didn't belong that started the chain of events that led to this fiasco! More government is not the answer. They either corrupt or destroy what they touch!
