13 different historical rankings on this page, every one of them have FDR in the top 3, and most in the top 1 or 2:

rankings from a slew of academics, who are nearly uniformly liberal or worse, means little to me. Additionally, rankings hardly signify uniformity. Those willing to take in the modern age and the disastrous effects of his welfare society, who would typically blast the govt as a solution, probably place FDR well down the list.

I'm not saying there haven't been worse. I guess all have had their moments and all have had their foibles. Few faced such weighty circumstances as did those guys that top the list. That's the greatest determinant of historical standing, rather than some mythical leadership potion. We've had much worse Presidents, both good Presidents who made 1 serious mistake as President that tarnished their reputation forever.
then prove me wrong. don't pull a truefan and tell me I'm not smart enough nor qualified to judge history. Show me where I'm wrong and that Southern democrats in the period after WWII weren't a bunch of racist bastards.
I'm suppose to believe you don't know that Grant is on the 50 dollar bill because he led the North to victory in the Civil War?
Which he did before becoming President, if I'm not mistaken. As President he did nothing even remotely deserving enshrinement on our money. His administration was as scandal-ridden as any we've witnessed. Research the history of our paper money and you'll find a several not-so-great Presidents and non-Presidents on our money. That titan of democracy Grover Cleveland used to be on our $1000 bill when we still made them. We're making dollar coins now with every President's face on them. Being well thought-of by whomever makes the decision does the most to determine whether or not you make the cut.
This coming from the guy who was trying to defend his idea that Obama is trying to become a dictator like Hugo Chavis
Andrew Jackson is also in that "prestigious" company. There's only a handful of U.S. Presidents who ended up with their face on U.S. currency, FDR happens to be one of them for reason.

Please continue to use supporting evidence of this caliber in all your arguments. I need a good laugh every now and then.
Blah Blah blah, liberals hated Bush, conservatives hate Obama, liberals wanted to move to Canada when Bush was elected, conservatives say the end is near since Obama was elected. everybody will moan and groan thats the promise of each president ...Derka Derka Derka ... sherpa shew..... Oh whats that? Jesus Christ is running for President and for my sins in 2012? Awesome but he is a card carrying memeber of the ACLU? or is it the NRA? Because Al Frankin or Rush told me one of those cards is very evil.
Jackson is one of the top 10 greatest Presidents in historical rankings:

I guess you would have us believe they take the worst Presidents and put their faces on the U.S. currency
Aren't your the same guy who was explaining why Lincoln and Washington weren't very good Presidents? Enough said.
