I find "value" in the whole Bible Old and New. What does "value" have to do with what Jesus and Muhammed did? Don't pull something cheap like this and drift off target. Show me where Jesus commanded killing. Show me where while he was here on earth did the same thing as Muhammed and went around killing people in the name of God.

Why is it about who you know, and not what is happening right in front of our eyes?? Do I have to know more black people than average to know that there are issues within the black community that they want to solve, because too many thugs give them a bad name?? What about legal immigrants?? You know, the ones that get a bad rap because they came here under the laws and their illegal counterparts cause them to be profiled everyday?? Come on man, I'm smarter than you think.

How is it taken out of context? Are you not reading what I am saying? Muhammed said killing is a means. So what if someone offers peace or not. Killing has still been advocated for by the actual founder of the religion. Show me where Jesus taught this.

What some don't understand is that Bible also teaches that all that say Lord, Lord shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven. In other words, not everyone that says they are a Christian, is!

So, basically, because they aren't TRUE practicing Muslims, they prove me wrong. They are trying to turn a religion of violence, and has been for the past 1600 years, into a religion of peaceful nature. It's not the way that REAL Muslims practice. Go over to the Middle East and tell them of their peaceful counterparts, and see what kind of response you get.

My interpretation? Please by all means then show me where Jesus advocated killing in any regard. It's not a matter of interpretation. Show me where Jesus said killing was fine.

Give me a break, I could go to Oman, or Turkey or a laundry list of other countries and be treated just fine, thank you very much. How do I know this? Because I believe the people that have told me just that.

Turning renegade and persecuting are not the same as trying to kill. Stay in context. And again, compare that to the response Jesus says on persecution.

Have you actually read the Bible and are a Christian?? If so, this would be an easy subject for you to know about. The Bible and the Muslim book are very specific on who is what and what is who. It's all good, I get a feeling in this thread, there are more atheists telling me what I should think and feel, than actual Christian people. I could be wrong though, but it doesn't feel like I am.

it's your interpretation that only jesus' words in teh bible are the ones that matter. christians for centuries disagreed with you.
