I still thinks he makes the tourney this year.
But I think at this current rate, he will be gone after 2014-2015. Four years without a tourney win is not acceptable at UT.
I think with a loss to UTEP and after tomorrow 2 losses to Xavier it will be tough to get there unless we kill it in conference as SEC is weak and probably only a 2-3 bid conference this year. Agree?
Since he loves UT,it's ok to lie to them and the ncaa about what happened?

I do agree.
The SEC is awful though. I have to believe (blindly) they can beat NC State and Virginia at home, and go 12-6 in the SEC. Hopefully that gets us there.
He had a BBQ with a recruit and lied.... Are you seriously going to say "I rather watch my team loose than to have a great head coach and great man that loves and represents UT to the fullest just because of that"?
I can get my sales pitch on as well baby.
That might do it, but this team is going to have to show a helluva a lot of improvement to beat NC St., UVA or go 12-6 in SEC. This looks like a 9-9 SEC team right now at best.

Pearl is a habitual liar. In both his job life and private life.
Everyone's a liar man. Let it go
I don't want him. Also, his show clause doesn't end till August of 2014.
I understand but I still personally want him.
UT can hire somebody that can bring great success to UT outside of Pearl.
He would have never told the truth until the pic came into the convo. If you think that is the only reason he got in trouble,i got swamp land for sale.He need to come clean and fight for the injusticeIf he didn't lie he would have been punished bad anyway. He lied hoping no one would ask any questions but he got caught and had to own up to it which put him in a bigger hole. Everyone's been there in their life at some point. Don't act like your sh** don't stink either. He made a mistake, he apologized for it sincerely and paid the price. It's over with and in the past. Forgive and forget. He's the man for UT basketball and it's that simple.
Can they? If so, I would love to meet this guy. It's been a long time coming.
In all seriousness, I just want Martin gone. I really don't care who we hire as long as they're good and proven.
