Sorry but I don't like it. I don't want the main coaches of the Cincy staff to be ours. If he was serious about building the best staff in the country, he lied.
who says hes gonna be our DC, he said he would be open to LB coach if needed, and DC was definitely not guaranteed to him, so it seems CBJ wants a big name DC and his own guy on staff, im down for that.
Oh and look at Cincy's defense the last three years, top 20 in scoring defense last year, 1st in TFL, 2nd in Sacks
CBS Sports says Bajakian is/was the best OC in the Big East in 2012:

I do hope CBJ spends the rest of that assistant salary money wisely and hires a stud DC though. That is far and away the team's most pressing need in 2013.
Who is out there that would be considered a "stud" defensive coordinator that would be willing to be on Butch Jones' staff. Anyone who falls into that catagorey would feel like he was more qualified to be the head coach than Jones. If use the logic that we couldn't hire a big name head coach because of where the program is at then the same would hold true for hiring a staff.

I'm sure that like many of you, I was impressed with CBJs press conference.
I am very disturbed, however, that it seems as if he "turned over every stone" pretty darn quickly in assembling the "nation's best" staff. And, surprise surprise, as it turns out, most of America's finest coaches just happened to be coaching in the Big Least at Cincinnati. Maybe it was sleep deprivation, maybe he was scripted to say that, but either way it was less than honest. Not a good move imo.
