Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread

Which is why if you're Cleveland, Oakland, or Buffalo (SF to an extent); you trade up right friggin' now and take Jimmy Clausen. Unbelievable.

I think the Browns like that they're in good position to get McCoy tomorrow...he might be their guy

not mad. Not gonna judge the pick until i know more about him

And Clausen is a 2nd rounder. I'm cracking up at STL right now. ALL THAT MONEY that they're dishing out to Bradford and could've had an elite DT and their franchise QB.

I've always thought that taking a QB in the top 3 is based way more on quanity than quality. You have fewer top 20 QBs (as far as talent level) than most other positions. Of course, there's no way to have known that Clausen who have fallen so far.

Interesting to note that Kindle is still on the board as well.

I would have thought that the saints would have gone with DT, LB first, didnt see the db on their board

More than likely? You can't be serious.

this is a league of parity; this kind of stuff happens after a team wins it so much in a row, so i dont make things definite after so long

your the favorites for the division yes; more than likely you will win the division; however it doesn't guarantee how the season plays out, so I dont speak in definites

after that 2007 super bowl loss the pats should have still been the easy favorites, but sh-t like that can happen in a season and change the end result

Awwwwwww Cart McCry did not go in the first round. I'm sure folks in the 40 acres are crying in their green tea. Suck it t-sips.

Not surprised at all to see Clausen not taken in the first round. A bit surprised that Denver drafted Tebow though.

Mays was nowhere near being a first round pick this offseason; he's on track for where he was expected to be

Yeah but you would think him not being that bad of a player and being by far the best athlete in the draft would have made him at least a late first pick.

Noone was expecting him to make it first round

but you're an Aggies fan, so I'll allow you to continue inflating yourself with ideas that their hearts were broken

Some team with experience taking workout wonders who aren't very good football players will probably take him. Any opinions on who this might be? :whistling:

why all the love for Jimmy clausen. I live not far from ND. Most of the ND fans here dont think he is that great.

true. definitely I think the jags top that list

If this way down the way I thought it did...the Broncos essentially gave up the B.Marshall compensation to trade up and take Tebow. IMO, thats significantly worse than JAX taking a hard nosed DT 25 picks too high. Denver could've had one of the top 10 players in the entire draft in Clausen...but they took Tebow. Hilarious!

nope, after workouts and everything he's pretty much been 2nd-3rd round at best

case of big name college player doesnt necessarily translate to high draft pick
