If this way down the way I thought it did...the Broncos essentially gave up the B.Marshall compensation to trade up and take Tebow. IMO, thats significantly worse than JAX taking a hard nosed DT 25 picks too high. Denver could've had one of the top 10 players in the entire draft in Clausen...but they took Tebow. Hilarious!
why all the love for Jimmy clausen. I live not far from ND. Most of the ND fans here dont think he is that great.
You obviously are not familiar with the "austin mentality". They think of him like the jorts crowd thinks of tebow.

Yes but normally more than 2 safeties get drafted in the first and he's easily in the top 3 (not ahead of thomas and berry though).
And the guy JAx took in the top 10 people even know at all?
look, based off what the scouts said and his workouts, he just didn't end up doing well enough to be a 1st rounder; name alone doesnt raise that
he'll get picked in the 2nd or 3rd easily
Some team with experience taking workout wonders who aren't very good football players will probably take him. Any opinions on who this might be? :whistling:
My hatred for all things austin knows no bounds. I'm enjoying two things right now and fixing to enjoy a third. 1st, a nice glass of jack on the rocks. 2nd, the thought of Colt crying his undrafted ass to sleep. And soon to be the 3rd, going to bed after sportscenter.
Gig em.

I'm not saying I'm a scout or that he should have been picked (even though there were worse picks IMO). I'm just saying that I'm surprised he's still there.
If he was a workout wonder, he would have been borderline first round and the titans would have taken him over Morgan
He is though expected to be a good safety who will eventually end up as a starter for his team...honestly if one of the Titans' needs were safety he'd make a great future replacement for an aging Chris Hope
they also dont have a 2nd round pick this year so they wouldnt be taking any workout wonders

Ummmm....negative. The guy is 6'4 230 and runs an FAT high 4.3 to low 4.4 40 yard dash. He performed extremely well in the combine (40+ nch vert as wel). I'm beginning to question which sport you're following right now....Mays is the very definition of a workout warrior.
