Of course, the political system can't and won't support true conservatism. One might even say conservatism is apolitical. Being a conservative and being a liberal are a way of life, not a political idea.

What? I would argue that true conservatism is the political ideology, and that "conservatives" as we see them in the GOP are more about a way of life.

The conventions mean nothing to Mom & Pop. Our country is so divided - over the presidency. I see Obama winning withthe same amount he won with in 2008. The problem is congress. Those limpy ftards need to go. All of them.

You missed my point yet again. My point was that neither major party candidate has given details on what they will do for the next four years if elected. Gary Johnson, whether you agree with everything he believes or not, has disclosed the most details about his plan for the next four years if elected. He also has not wavered in his stances on the issues. I respect that.

I wish the other two would do the same whether I agree with them or not.

I'm watching CNN .
They have members of both parties as analysts. I think they are a little better than the other networks. Not saying they do not slant left but they do have some balance .
