It'd be great if Bret Marks stepped up to be a weekend starter. He didn't do bad as a week day guy last year.

Last game of the night about to get under way in Alaska. JRod is sitting this one out. Senzel is at 2B, batting 5th.

Many of the east coast teams didn't play today so there's not as much to report.

Late Night Tidbit...(Senzel gets on, walk, eventually scores, Miners trail 3-1)

Jordan Sheffield and Eric Freeman both play for the Laconia Muskrats in the NECBL...

JS: 12. 1 IP, 15 H, 9 R, 7 ER, 10 BB, 14 SO, 0-1 w/l, ERA 5.10

EF: 13 IP, 17 H, 8 R, 5 ER, 5 BB, 13 SO, 1-1 w/l, ERA 3.46

Sheffield is used as a starter and Freeman as a reliever. I'm thinking I want to take back where I placed Freeman in my "Kick it up a notch" post a page back...

AJ had a good day. Houser had a bad day. I thought I would miss more, not really. Sorry for the lack of up dates, I'll be back on it Saturday.

Senzel went one for four yesterday with a run, a hit, a walk and a K.

Rodgers went 1 for 4.

Bret Marks went: 6.1 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 7 SO

He only gave up 1 run in the first 6 innings, before giving up the others in the 7th and final inning of a double header.

JYB went 0 for 3 yesterday.

Game 1 ends in a 0-0 tie...game 2 in about an hour...Stewart was 0/3 with a fly out and 2 K's.
