Bret Marks' last outing was going well through 6 innings, but the top of the 7th turned into a nightmare. I covered that already in the thread so...All in all, Marks is having a pretty good summer so far.

ERA 2.39(overall) 1.64 (conference), 26.1 IP, 22 H, 8 R, 7 ER, 11 BB, 30 SO, 2-2 w/l.

Kyle Serrano

ERA 4.00(overall) 3.60 (conference), 18 IP, 12 H, 13 R, 8 ER, 19 BB, 30 SO, 0/1 w/l

Peter Lenstrohm has made more appearances than any other Bucs pitcher. He had a tough outing on June 30th which drove his ERA up over 5.00. Previously, he'd maintained a fairly solid ERA. He got off to a great start but has faltered as of late, hopefully he can reclaim his early summer form.

ERA 5.06, 16 IP, 14 H, 11 R, 9 ER, 13 BB, 15 SO, 0-2 w/l

More to come...

It is still a little concerning to see how poor most of the pitchers' control has been:

Serrano with 19 walks in 18 iinn
Lenstrohm 13 walks in 16 inn
Owenby 5 walks in 6 inn

Andrew Lee is somewhat better with 9 walks in 19 inn but that's still about 4 1/2 walks per game. Plus, these stats don't include the HBPs.

Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League - Cincinnati Steam

Derek Lance suffered a wrist injury on June 21st when he was hit by a pitch. He reentered the line up on the 4th of July going 0/3. However in the next two games he went a combined 5/11 with 2 runs and 2 RBI. These were his first multi hit games since June 9th. His .281 batting average is third best on the team.

BA .281, 57 AB, 9 R, 16 H, 1 2B, 4 RBI, 9 BB, 1 HBP, 10 SO, 7-8 SB/ATT

Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League - Riverhead Tomcats

Andrew Plunkett has picked it up over the last few games, even the last 2 weeks...He's gotten a hit in 7 out of the last 10 games and has had two multi hit games in the last 5. His BA is at .246 the best of the summer.

BA .246, 65 AB, 6 R, 16 H, 3 2B, 1 HR, 10 RBI, 7 BB, 17 SO

Forrest Bramlett got off to a really good start, on June 11th his batting average was a summer high .471, he'd gotten hits in 6 out of 7 games. Shortly after, he would hit the skids, in his next 25 at bats he would get one hit. His average plummeted to .220 on June 25th.

BA .236 55 AB, 6 R, 13 H, 2 2B, 7 RBI, 2 BB, 11 SO

Northwoods League - St. Cloud Rox

5 of Lee's 9 walks came in one game. In his three other starts he gave up 2 walks in 6 IP, 0 walks in 5.0 IP and 2 walks in 6.0 IP. So, 17 innings, 4 walks and 13 K's.
