So after a couple glasses of whiskey, I always like to bump this thread in vain. Mikey Garcia looking good so far against Concepcion but Lopez v Salido II coming up will hopefully be as good as the first go around.

So far JuanMa just doesn't look like the same fighter, hopefully there's more left in the tank.

Side note: watching this makes me even more depressed that Gus Johnson won't be announcing during march madness

Thought Lopez was actually starting to get a small amount of momentum but the slow mo of that final combination was just brutal. Good stoppage but ballsy ass show, even in a convincing loss, by JuanMa.

End to the Kirkland fight was such a joke. I had no rooting interest in Molina bc of the way he was fighting the whole night but he gained absolutely no advantage by what took place and had already clearly beaten the count. Schorle just all of a sudden decides to be a stickler for the rules after barely mentioning the fact that he'd let Molina turn it into grappling contest all fight long.

Please please please let Morales retire now.

Am I the only one that hates Mayweather and thinks he is a joke?



Manny agreed to blood testing 24 days before the fight. - Mayweather wanted 14 days before the fight.

"I gave him (Pacquiao) a chance, up to 14 days out. But my new terms are all the way up to the fight. They can come get us whenever, all the way up to the fight, random drug test. That’s what it is," Mayweather was quoted as saying.

He claims it's "basic common sense" that Manny used roids. From the very beginning, I've thought it was basic common sense that Floyd has never wanted to fight Manny. His camp constantly blamed Pacquio for the fight not happening when really it was always them. They were the ones making demands for Manny to do testing that boxing doesn't require. They were the ones changing the terms every time Manny was willing to agree. Test closer to fight, we want more money etc. Now, Floyd admits fighting Manny is a risk to his health. In other words, he's always believed that and never wanted to fight Manny. Mayweather is such a joke and he's dodging Manny because he's scared of losing his perfect record. He's always full of excuses and even worse, his fans buy into the b.s. he's trying to sell. That's just my take on it anyways.

You're not wrong in you assessment of Mayweather, and his common sense argument is ridiculous, but Manny's camp is just as much to blame for their fight not happening. Neither of the two sides have ever been serious about the negotiations, Manny just doesn't go around talking about it so he doesn't get the same attention about it.
