Official Boxing thread

Haven't kept up with the slate for the weekend except the big one tomorrow night. Who's got that fight tonight? FNF? Showbox?

TruTV, they've got a new deal going with Top Rank. I'm really glad that there's been an influx of reasonably interesting cards on basic cable

Yeah, it's gotten pretty crazy at this point. Must have missed it last week while I was gone but I just read earlier this week that Andre Ward is going to be fighting again and it's going to carried on BET because he's repped by Jay-Z and Roc Nation now. The more free boxing the better.

Wilder's next fight looks like Eric Molina, whose claim to fame is getting run over by the legendary Chris Arreola in under 3 minutes.

This weekend's HBO card has promise, also Figueroa/Burns on CBS in the afternoon, the undercard has some potential but not sure how much of the card will be shown.

Gotta say that a fight on free TV at 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon is pretty damn cool.

No clue against Kirkland, how the hell do you have any idea which James is going to show up.

Thought he'd regained himself and had a chance to make it last 6 or 7 but he just couldn't ever mount any offense after the 1st minute of the fight.

Saul just looked like the better fighter in all areas. I was hoping for a better fight but at least it ended quick enough to watch the end of the grizzlies game

Edit- kirkland needs to get back with wolfe and stay with her. It ends horribly when he trains with someone else
