Mora blew an ankle and retired, was a pretty good 5 minutes of fighting, too bad that happened it was an unusually sporty gameplan by Sergio tonight, and didn't really get any answers about Jacobs.

Paulie ducking those Garcia hooks instead of moving away, if Danny lowers his target frame a bit Paul's mouthpiece will be out at Montauk.

I have no idea how mora's career has lasted this long.

I know it won't be but I really wish that was the last time we had to see Paulie in the ring instead of outside commenting on a fight.

Somewhere near the end a graphic showed body shots were like 56-4. When you don't have heavy hands, you've got to take the body and make the other guy miss, and Paulie can't do either anymore.

For all the **** I give him, he seems like he's become a pretty good guy, and a good analyst, but I'd prefer he not make himself brain dead chasing another payday. He's pretty much become a ready made "name opponent" to get beat up on TV.

Doubt the PPV numbers for Maweather/Berto will ever be released. I wouldn't spend $10 from someone else's wallet on it.

Roy KO'd a milkman from West Virginia in 6 over at Foxwoods, would've gone had I been paying attention.

Sadly, he fights in St Martin in 2 weeks, then 2 weeks following he's fighting for the "Malta International Cruiserweight Title" in England. Go the F away, Roy, you're not going to find another payday, and any commission that would allow him to fight a real boxer needs to be investigated.

I had every intention of watching and was looking forward to the main event but I also decided it was a good idea to take advantage of one of the last Saturday afternoons of the summer, vodka won. Saw the scoring was a draw and two 117 - 111. Safe to assume the draw card was ridiculous or was it closer than 9 - 3 to you?

117-111 is right, it was fun though, correctly scored a blowout but competitive. Glad Santa Cruz won, he seems really likeable.

The co feature was like watching Morales and Barrera go at it, as wild as 5 rounds I've seen recently.

Hard to believe it's been 10 years since Morales was owned by Zahir Raheem. I remember the date because I was at a wedding and missed the live show.

Should've known then that he was about shot

Didn't realize there was a card last night until Comcast called at lunchtime offering me 3 free months of Showtime if I bought it.

Excited for Golovkin v Lemieux?

Can't really envision a "bad" Gennaday per se, but I feel like people are trying to talk themselves into it being a competitive fight. Not sure I can figure out why.

Going to be some fireworks, Lemieux is tough and has shown some heavy hands in the past, but Gennady has simply owned everyone he's ever fought, that can change but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

Lemieux definitely has the power to make it interesting in a "one good shot can change everything" kind of way but I just can't see him being a good enough boxer with GG to matter. Guess that's why they call it a puncher's chance though. Still, always a good weekend when Gennady is on TV.
