Swap Bama and Vandy and I am with you.
I can't see your logic with Bama.
they have to win 21 games regular season to get their rpi in the 40s
Vandy only needs 17 to get there. Their SOS is better than ours.

Has some sort of weird fixation with Bama lately, was made obvious by him continuing to push them while ignoring Vandy and Georgia.

I have the same logic that those "experts"
That don't have us in now have.

+\- record>rpi

Not saying I agree with it just that it's possible

That's not what happens come March though, both of those things have to line up, that's what you seem to be missing. If +\- record > RPI then South Carolina would've gotten in last season.

There has to be a cut off somewhere.

Was that cutoff last year 62?

Lmao, that's not how it works, surely you're joking?

Florida last year left out with a 55, Vandy got in with a 62, Georgia left out at 63 and Carolina left out at 64. Team with the best +\- didn't get in...

I am seeing very little difference between what Bama could be this year and Vandy last year. SOS and RPI would both be very close.

Bottom line is I can't see a 12-6 SEC team not making it this year with the SEC being a top 5 conference.

Last season was a SEC head scratcher for sure.

SOS 30 for Vandy vs. SOS 72 for Bama

Not really...committee puts a lot into RPI and SOS...Florida and Vandy were both close, Florida struggled down the stretch while Vandy was better...result=Vandy getting into the last 4 in group and Florida being left out.

Conference record got Vandy in over florida.
Same thing I am saying with Bama and Tennessee Potenially. Florida had better RPI and it didn't matter

A 9-9 SEC team isn't getting in, simple as that...11-7 is about the cutoff, Vandy had 2 games on Florida in league play, a RPI about 5 away...with Bama/UT you're talking a 1 game difference and a RPI about 17 spots difference.
