BTO provided a lot of good information in this thread. It's too bad that it's getting **** all over because TN wasn't able to remain relevant to the NCAAT at-large bids through the final game. It's still interesting... don't know why anybody has to ***** about it being in this forum.
Lets "bubble wrap" this thread and head over to the baseball forum...those guys can be decent this year...started the year off 6-1 and could have 13-14 wins by the time they start SEC play
I hate to agree but they've had good starts under Serrano before and fell apart when SEC started. It should be make a regional or bust for him this year.

I'd think we'd at least need to finish above .500, which would mean win Saturday against Alabama, then win at least 1 in the SECT. I seriously doubt finishing .500 will get us in.
Texas did accept a CBI bid in 2013 when they went 16-17, so I guess Barnes might accept one of those bids. That would be good for experience but I'm not sure it would be at TBA.

He is a bubble coach. Will be on the bubble every year. I know he made it comfortably last year but he had 3 pros. That will be the exception and not the norm.
He made it comfortably his last year here and, if not for a blown call on Stokes against Michigan, would've been in the Elite 8!! Then you bunch of hillbillies ran him off!!!
