Edmonds only needs to hit 30 more HRs to get to 400. I say if he can get to 382-385 this year then he can reach the milestone next year. And say that he does to get to 400 HRs in his career would you consider him a HOFer?

Apparicio is probably one of the top 10 shortstops of all time. And high batting averages do not a hall of famer make.

Look at stolen base numbers in the American League in that era, the stolen base had all but disappeared.
