OFFICIAL Chi Cubs Thread: Anyone can have a bad century/this is the year

i'll rehash when he strikes out over 10 people per game and i'll rehash it when he wins game 7 of the world series. Btw he's striking out over 41% of the people he's facing at chicago he's just plain filthy.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

well congratulations to him. Still doesn't change the fact that he can't last very long in ballgames.

i remember when you said that my only argument was that he struck out a bunch of people, but the only thing you've brought up is his IP.

If this is Harden we are talking about, then VOLNBAMA might have a point because he is one of the most dominating P's in the NL

another reason why Harden will be alot better is because he makes NL hitters look silly, giving up only 3 ERs in 37 IP.

The Central is probably average, not weak. The Brewers and the Cubs are playoff caliber teams, the Cardinals are solid. Better than the NL West, AL West, and possibly the AL Central.

The NL is significantly weaker than the AL overall, and Harden has been mowing down NL hitters since the trade. But yeah you're right, the Central isn't bad.

I'm going to sound like a homer, but the Angels, Rangers and A's could all hold their own against the NL Central.

when the Cubs get the bats going, this is exactly what makes them so dangerous. Dempster tonight and Z last night were disgusting.

that said, Harden goes tomorrow. he'll got out in the 6th having struck out 8-10 with a 2-1 lead.

i hope the strategy of keeping him to low innings now keeps him healthy for October.
