@franfraschilla: Remember that since adoption of "one-and-done" rule in NBA's CBA 11 years ago, only 2 NCAA champs have had 1 on their team. '12 UK, '15 Duke
Don't worry, he isn't your problem anymore. You guys shouldn't have been pumping him and Bolden's debut up so much. Pretty disappointing
Anybody can be a great teammate and eager to contribute tho man... There were flashes of a solid contributor, but never a projected top 5 pick like every thought knowing the injury history.
Had Giles not gotten injured right before the season things probably would have been different, but after that injury my expectations towards him shifted to pretty much what he was. The only reason he played this year was because he had to play 21 games for his insurance policy. Had the 21 insurance policy not have been there he probably wouldn't have played at all and probably shouldn't have.

i love this stat from espn...
"since the 2003-04 season, self's first at kansas, he is tied with duke's mike krzyzewski for the most losses to lower-seeded teams in the ncaa tournament, with 10, according to espn stats & information. Six of those losses came when the jayhawks were a no. 1 seed."

Typically when you are a 1 seed and you lose, the team that beats you will probably be a lower seed.
I love this stat from Rdu Vol#14:
" Since 1991 Coach K and Duke have won 5 NCAA titles. That's more than Dean Smith and Roy Williams have won combined."
