i mean giles has had a major and an minor knee surgery since last playing. I think he played 1 or 2 games of his senior year then was out. He hasn't played in a while and he's getting up to speed. The fact that he's even playing for duke, let alone starting, in great for us. Many thought he'd just sit out. He's getting better every game, it's just a little unfortunate for him that he's having to get up to speed after not playing in more than a year against acc competition. That's not easy for anyone. Give him 5ish more games and i think we'll start to see the hype.
As for bolden, he's been a curious case. Before the season, many said he was the starter after seeing practices, then he got hurt. He was undoubtedly set back by this, but even now, he doesn't look ready at all. Maybe he's still not fully healthy? Idk, but he's had a real short leash with the coaching staff - 1 mistake and he's out so he hasn't had any chances to play extended minutes and learn the game. Idk if he's played more than 7 mins in a game honestly. Idk if we'll see the real bolden, but i don't think the coaching staff is doing him any favors by not letting him play thru mistakes. His big question mark is his motor and that's been obvious to anyone who watches. If they can figure out what makes him go, then i think could possibly see the real bolden. As of now, i think he's back in durham next year.
