Don't know where this goes but Raijon has always had this air of confidence about himself but when he was corrected by Gillespie be copped an attitude. What's the point to being a leader if you can't take criticism yourself and set the example. Far as I'm concerned he hasn't proven anything at UT. And he wonders why they call him soft.

I so hope you're just jerking our legs. We really don't need another Da'Rick repeat of disrespecting a coach.
Neal of all people should know this. Hopefully, he has sense enough to not sabotage his chance to make it as a pro.

Unless he just has an unbelievable senior year, I don't see this happening. He has all the ability in the world but for whatever reason if someone touches his shoelace he goes down. Personally I think he has a fear of injury and so he goes down so as to try and avoid it.

If this crap is true about him back talking the coaches, they need to deal with this quickly! We definitely don't want another "Da'Rick" attitude on the team.

I'm not saying he was talking back he apparently was pouting had an attitude and was made to run. You know how when your chastised by your parents and they can tell you have an attitude over it by your demeanor. That's all I'm saying. I think his ego was hurt.

Still, that is behavior you don't want to see coming from your starting senior RB! I guess it's indicative of the culture of this team prior to CBJ taking over. I'm sure they'll nip this kind of crap in the bud though.

I have to ask what has he done at UT that would allow him to have an ego? When you compare him against our RB tradition he is yet to place above average. He has an opportunity this year to change that perception and the good news is that he finally has a coaching staff that could support him in that endeavor.

Disagree about his falling down, that was Tauren Poole. Raijon ran with authority until injured last year. He hit between the tackles and struggled to keep moving forward as requested. I think we will see a very different Neal this season if he doesn't sabotage it with his mouth.

Being a big dog in a small yard will do funny things to some people.

Oh I agree. I believe some players have that sense of entitlement and Dooley and others were the culprits of that behavior. Think about Jay Graham. He felt he should have been recruiting coordinator a sense of entitlement. But this staff will get that out.

I've never seen Raijon fall forward like you say. And the knock on him by everyone is him falling at first contact. He himself even said that it irked him that the staff believed he was soft which he is. And his vision is horrible. If Marlin Lane had Raijons body he would be all SEC

We need to nip this behavior in the bud! If you don't want to learn from the coaches then you don't need to be a part of Team 117!

I have. Couldn't find a video but did find the following:

Scout.com: IT's take

Tennessee: Week 2 grades | Nooga.com

He did this when asked to do so and DD began demanding violence from the RBs. BUT in my search for proof, I came across a few things that upholds your view. One of note was that RN doesn't like to run between the tackles. He admits to having a tailback mentality that seeks to get around the line. I also was unaware that he was originally a WR, converted to a RB. This may explain the between the tackles shyness.

You're probably right about that because that switch back to RB may have had an affect. But I also think alot of these younger backs were used to out running the competition in high school but in college everyone's fast. I can remember him not wanting to run between the tackles and trying to bounce to the outside and he kept getting caught. Graham got alot of those habits out of him. Hopefully this season he develops even more and has better vision. The kid squats six plus he should be a beast out there that's what we're waiting on.

The part about Folger and Tiny was hilarious.

He will most likely update it more later on.

I always get so irritated with the injuries in camp. They just always happen to players we need to be playing.

The coaches had plenty of good things to say after Tuesday's practice.

Bajakian:

"I am really happy with what we've been able to throw at them and what they've been able to absorb. We haven't let up at all, and that's good. To be honest, they really did a great job this summer of studying the game and working at it and I'm really happy with the fact that we've been able to throw a lot at them, even some new things at them, and they haven't missed a beat."

LB coach Thigpen:

"We put in a good bit more defense (Tuesday) and I thought we were going to have a lot more busts. But it seems like they have a good grasp of what we were doing (Tuesday)."

Recievers coach Azzanni:

"Here's the thing, there's no depth chart right now. I know what the other guys can do because they had 15 practices (in the spring) to show me. I have 25 days to find out if any of the new guys can do it. So rather than waste time, I'm throwing them in the grease and seeing what we have got.

"I am comfortable giving the best players playing time. If they happen to be guys with black stripes then they are guys with black stripes. I told my wife (Tuesday) that this season may age me about 10 years. There will be some peaks and valleys for sure."

Jancek :

"It's a great indication of where your team is at from a mental standpoint. How they respond? How they react? Their body language. Are they like, 'Oh, no.' Or are they excited about an opportunity to go out and show that they can make a great play in an adverse situation, a sudden change situation."

Thanks for posting. It's great reading something other than, "we're not a very good football team right now."

Not gonna spoil it for y'all. Just know that the drill looks like it's (at least partially)designed to do that.

WRs hands seem a bit granite encrusted right now. Hope this gets solved become the games. Might be due to QBs instructed to throw "difficult" passes rather than precision ones.

Three happy def coaches...one not so happy off coach...interesting.

Thanks Hill Man.

As for Neal and attitude. There is "attitude" and then there is "attitude." I am looking for Neal to cop the right one.
