Pat even says in the same affidavit that they met later and that she may have misunderstood the meaning behind the original conversation.

Debbie Jennings seems to me to be the real problem here. Bitter woman who rode on Pat's coat tails for 35 years. I'm sorry, but how hard could her job really have been all of that time? PS made it very easy to put the UT label out there nationally and internationally.

Her free ride may not be over. I believe and I could be wrong but her payout was 90% salary and health insurance for the rest of her life. If thats true, I believe that could be considered a Golden Parachute!

Good point. In my opinion, this makes her an even more disgusting person.

Let someone offer me 90% of my salary for the rest of my life to leave......there would be a smoke trail out the door before they could finish saying it.

Look, we can all see that you have an axe to grind. Maybe the best thing to do is to watch this all play out and see what happens. JMO, but if Pat was so hurt and felt as though she was told to leave, why put the last part in the affidavit?

Should he have said please? Or should he have let her stay on as coach as long as she wanted? He gave her a way to stay with the program and UT. He may not have gone about it in what some would consider a stand up manner, but I think he showed respect for her and what she accomplished here by creating a position for her, so she could still be a part of UT and the athletics program.

Jennings on the other hand.....personally, I could care less what he told her.

As much as I love Pat, what was Hart supposed to do? None of us know what was said, what Pat was thinking, she could have been considering another season.

Was Hart supposed to let her run down the Lady Vols like MH let PF do the football team just because she is a TN legend?

"we". Do you think all of VN knows me well enough to know I have an axe to grind? Are you the self appointed spokesman? I can not believe we treat coaches in this manner.
