True, I wasn't saying it was going to make a complete comeback, just that there are many industries that use coal, but not for power.

Hey Republicans, you know how stupid liberals sound when they claim over taxing businesses would never cause them to look overseas?
Yeah well, that's how stupid you sound when play the "we tiny little humans could never impact the big ol' Earth". Despite the numerous cases in history of a few, decimating hundreds of acres beyond recognition and the power to wipe out 80% of life on the planet with a push of a few buttons.

Why I hate partisanship. People will invent alternate realities to convince themselves the other side can't be on to something. You sound like meth heads claiming they can quit whenever they want and meth is actually good for you.
If I attempted to pump half the same chemicals into your house (on scale), you guys would blow my brains out for endangering your family and rightfully so.

Liberals and for-profit corporations have exaggerated claims for their benefit. Doesn't make sticking your heads up your asses and pretending the elephant isn't in the room, is the beneficial response. Give a shot at admitting the problem and working on a compromise that doesn't destroy businesses but starts the needed response.

Or **** it. Just keep playing "my side's better than yours" and let our grandkids figure it out. I mean, who cares about them.

Absolutely. The biggest problem I have is with some politicians perpetuating a lie around the revival of coal industry. It's false hope. Let's help those folks by creating viable roles.

Trump stated he would like to renegotiate terms and re-enter the agreement if it is feaseable for the US. I'm interested to see what that means going forward.

Climate change is natural and there's very little we can do about it. Humans have a small impact compared to natural occurrences. Keep being fed propaganda though.

As far as posting here: I was still involved with government when alarming facts started to surface about climate change. No matter what anyone thinks, it wasn't some made up conspiracy by libs. There's a real issue and we do play a part. While there's several issues I may have some knowledge on, this one has more potential impact on my offspring (yes some woman allowed me to touch her, as unbelievable as it may seem) :)
Don't expect to realistically change anyone's mind but just feel compelled to tell the truth.

I believe you were privy to some observations that some considered alarming. I also believe you are genuinely concerned. Your spawn will be just fine...well, as fine as is reasonable considering they carry your DNA.
