Official Global Warming thread (merged)

More people voted for Clinton than Trump. No one has disputed this. The "Vast" (A real loose term you don't understand on a large scale) majority of Americans wanted someone other than Clinton. You have yet to understand or accept this. There isn't some overwhelming need to jerk off to Hillary every night.

Another thing you don't understand is the name of our country and what it means. We're a collection of states, that's where the electoral college comes in. Don't get all pissy with me because you don't understand it.

So "vast" is a subjective word (I agree), but your interpretation of it "on a large scale" is all that's relevant? Lol

Thanks for the EC, heads up. I knew you couldn't resist. It's like fishing with dynamite...

Maybe the European NATO countries can start paying their tab under that agreement before they try to soak us for another $3 billion transfer of wealth. We can handle climate change with our own initiatives here at home, from a common sense approach, without being extorted by other countries that think they have some authority in dictating the terms to us and just expect us to hand over the money.

Watching the news today resembles the day after the election. So much butt hurt

Facebook is interesting. I have some family and friends who are diehard liberals. Apparently we're all gonna be dead in about 10 years now.

Doubtful considering both China and India each have a population over 1 billion larger than the US. But assuming it is true, the US is third in world population, and it is a developed country with a high standard of living; it stands to reason that the emissions are greater on a per person basis. Play with the numbers enough and you can get any result you want - statistics are putty in the hands of a zealot on a mission.

The United States is 2nd in emissions per many sources and that is information easy to find. On a per capita basis we are higher than China and India.

But the per capita basis doesn't really matter in my opinion. Total emissions is total emissions.

The numbers are that the United States is the 2nd largest emitter in the world. It's not statistics.

The only problem I have with that chart is it's six years old. I doubt the numbers will have changed significantly, but I'd like to see updated numbers especially with the transition to gas the American market has been making.

That's a fair remark. This report sheds some more light if anyone wants to take the time to read it.

The United States is currently decreasing it's CO2 emissions while India and especially China are trending up. I'm not calling the United States a large problem in comparison to others. Just by the nature of our population and how developed we are means that we have a large effect on total emissions for better or for worse

You can put Al Gore & John Kerry in that bag of nut job hypocrites too. Those two peas in a pod are so filthy rich they could buy their own city to dictate to the residence about how to live to their wishes.

Behold, one of Al Gore's homes:

Most idiots don't even know that they shouldn't be butt-hurt. It's just that Trump did this wonderful thing by taking care of the American people's tax dollars of not pissing it into the wind w/no good results for them and it's really really bad for the whole freaking world or something to that effect.

No, it's most people are butthurt because they were told to be.

I can flat guarantee you 90% of Americans have no idea what was or wasn't in that treaty.

That's what the former President did with such glee. Just write that sh!t up & I'll sign it without a thought about it. That person didn't care about America.....just spend money like a drunk sailor at the bar.

Totally agree on both counts. And I bet most didn't even know that the Treaty was even in existence. It's just Trump is bad & stupid. Liberals just want to trash Trump just because he farted twice today.

I'll up those numbers and say 99% of the butt hurt comes from Trump sloughing away at Obama's legacy and that is what is really eating away and the sanity of libtards everywhere. And its only been six months! :eek:lol: He hasn't been impeached yet and has already undone half of what Obama accomplished.

I don't see anything wrong with wanting to live there... and it's probably not even his primary residence. I would be a homebody if I lived in a place like that.

If man is the problem (and it's obviously going to vary by person), then the problem is the growth in population - more people more generators of pollutants and waste heat either through simply being (eating, heating, cooling, etc) and by the consumption of anything requiring energy to produce. If you've studied thermodynamics, that covers pretty much anything humans need to survive. If the pope wishes to weigh in on things, then the Vatican needs to rethink contraception vs conquering the world through out-populating the competition.

I agree, zero population growth would solve a lot of problems relative to climate change. Unfortunately, it will never happen because no government will ever regulate childbirth. For the record, I'm not endorsing governments regulating how many children a person can have.

Damn it's hot today, my beer getting warm before I can finish it is proof of man made global warming.

In other news -----> Geraldo is absolutely appalled by Trumps climate deal exit.

Here's another loony rich lawyer who has mashed potatoes for brains.

I honestly love how you all have convinced yourselves that scientists and the majority of the planet are the dumbs ones. Kudos

2017 will be one hell of a year

No offense man but your entire post is wrong and based on bad information. The US has not always been a global leader. You don't need a college education to get ahead. The rest is mindless gobbledygook.

Oh yeah unemployment dropped again..is that helping American workers?

Sure it is... Unemployment dropped significantly under Obama as well but all conservatives wanted to talk about then was how much underemployment was involved with that and how many discouraged workers were no longer being counted in the work force. Trump talked about that throughout the campaign while often insisting that the "real" percentage of unemployed workers in the U.S. was as high as 40%. Fox News would always focus on underemployment and discouraged workers when the unemployment rate went down under Obama - now they never do.
