Official Global Warming thread (merged)

You ingest tritium everyday. The ocean is really big. And I'm pretty sure a two headed dolphin is just a random genetic deformity. On another note, Chernobyl is the best wildlife refuge on Earth. Turns out humans are worse than radiation.

My grandfather said the same thing. So did my dad. So did the ones before them.

What yo daddy and granpap believed don't mean nothin. Nothin at all. We livin in today's world, Ol Son.

Keep on believing the lie though.

The lie? What 'lie' would that be? I don't believe you know what you're talkin about.

Oh yeah and we are about to run out of oil to lol.

Well, that's just plain ol BS!

Well, whatever they call music these days really does suck. And worse, it's heating up the atmosphere and darkening the skies.

Whether or not it's radiation causing the veins of chiton to breakdown in the flora and fauna at the bottom of the foodchain of the Pacific Ocean can be debated. But micro orgamisms, algae, and krill mass death occurances are taking place. These are the foodsources needed for the food chain of seafood to our table.

Same was true with the flat earthers, slavers, women can't voters, segregationists, etc..... Few people change their mind but everybody dies.

Yes, God forbid a scientist have to actually prove something with science. Needs people to die and brainwash children for this fraud to work.

Then there will be a long wait. Strange it is how many folk under 30 are calling BS on a lot of climate change claims, whether true or not.

Like the earth not being flat? The science was there but most were unable or unwilling to understand the science. Same scenario today.

Not many. Look at the numbers as they have changed over the last 40 years. The trend will continue, I'm hoping there are even a few open minded enough to change their mind and believe the science.

Orangedog are you a climate scientist? I'm not trying to pick a fight, and I'm sure it's been answered, but I don't want to wade through the thread.

The good thing is mother earth will wipe out the coach roaches of her life (us) and continue on her merry way for a few more billion years.

No, I was a mechanical engineer on power plants. But I have hired the Chem E PhD types to do 'catastrophic nuclear accident toxic materials dispersion and re-uptake analyses' (whew!) for EPA envirionmental impact statements during design licensing phases for plant modifications and upgrades.

I've also done some limits of toxic waste dispersion evaluation and plant remediation on coal and oil fired steam plants and one hydroelectric station.
Never had to do it on a nuclear station.

So I got to know guys that all they do is that sort of shiest and incorporate their work into our documentation.

I also have a brother that ran a multi university environmental information exchange out of Columbia in NewYork. It was all about the Aral Sea environmental disaster in Uzbekistan. So I learned a lot from him.

Anyway, for catatrophic accident toxic materials release, recombination, dispersion, deposition, and re-uptake modeling, the article on these guys is a great source.
