Thats truly gangster. I have linemans plyers and tin snips in my trunk tool box...but 90% of folks (and likely 99.9% of the BMW/Benz driving young dbags who double park intentionally) will never be equipped to cut that thing off of their door handle lmao...

Welp..delivered the news today to my Project Engineer on our project after hearing that the VSD delay is affirmed for a May 18, 2023 delivery. A frekin 1 year delivery from Date of Order
Turns out that his schedule for plant opening has slipped to March instead of January...So close.
This week was "my" deadline for giving him an option to cancel order and pursue other options, but this buys me some time I suspect. He took it well, but said sarcastically he hopes I have not already purchased a new truck. But now he is going shopping again and he has a large 6 month window. He honestly is a great guy and appreciates my honesty. Could of gone into Dec and left him no choice.

I get a golden star for doing right.

I don't know who you get your drives through, but I had lunch a few months or so ago with the local Allen-Bradley/Rockwell sales rep and she said getting chips to make their stuff was a competition between them and auto manufacturers and the car guys are winning. My BIL sells equipment for a European manufacturer and they spec out all AB stuff for their American sales and he says they are way behind due to lack of availability. Nothing like Joe and his incompetent administration to foster American products.

These drives are just a component in which we are a distributor of the complete product. Looking at the Engineering Data Sheet for this particular unit...it says Eaton..and I have heard the word somewhere in all this BS that it is German. I did not even know that Eaton made drives..well apparently not any more..at least for the product I represent.

Now saying what I know..it makes me reflect on WTH is going on over in the EU. They just all the sudden cancelled all the outstanding PO's with the manufacturer of the product I represent.

Just dropped my daughter off...she is my whole world and my best friend, and tells me that i am hers. This alone makes each day still worth living, even the ones that i dont get to see her anymore.

As she stood on the steps, hugging me bye, i bent down and tied her shoe as it was amiss. " I taught you how to tie these" i said. "You sure did " she said "and i still tie them the same way."

I said " no matter how big you get, when you've got your own kids and grandkids, I'll still be the guy that got to teach you how to tie your shoes." "That makes me happy."

" i love you Dad" she said.

Some days, thats all that matters.
She gave me this picture today. This is what I still see when i look at her, even though shes on the homecoming court in a few weeks.

Something for the mid week blahs. And for the record, almost nothing on YouTube seems to be what the picture infers it's going to be ... she might lose the towel or something, but you won't see it here.

Me too. Got my roof truss repairs back yesterday for the last building and didnt have a punchout crew free to go fix the trusses with damage from either delivery or being set with the crane (99% of the time its from the delivery drivers). They are delivered on 18 wheelers with a "dump" trailer so the drivers raise the front of the trailer up hydraulically, and the couple ton truss package slides off the rollers built into the trailer and onto the street....bottom couple trusses almost always break a gusset plate or member. So i had to climb around like a monkey up in the 20ft tall attic space nailing on plywood gussets or replacing/scabbing on 2x4 members. Only had 1 guy to help down on the floor, and he was a greenhorn. Pulled muscles that i did not know i had....plus i was using a hitachi 36volt cordless framing gun and skillsaw. Slice..they are like $400 but their skilly is the best invention since the microwave. I can cut rafters at warpseed til lunchtime on a battery, switch or charge one, and cut the rest of the day cordless. Real 7.25in blade too... with the 36volt lithium they have finally made a cordless skilly that can do what a true cutman needs 1 to do without issues. So badazz. The nailgun rocks too but its too damn heavy. The skilly is within an ounce or 2 of corded. Hitachi is better than Dewalt in cordless saw and guns. As before, Dewalt is for drills...and they are pricey at that..

So is Saturday’s game regional coverage only? Jefferson Pilot or whatever that is now?

I have next to no hopes of finding it in the DFW market

ESPN+ will have it. There isn't a Jefferson Pilot anymore. The game will either be on network, ESPN or SECN.
