Here is a pic of me plumbing it in. I added the transfer switch after move in. We’re I to plan from the start I’d probably put a manual transfer switch on the line in and buy a 15kW generator then I could run the whole house.

Note the little box in the lower right is a whole house surge protector. I’m quite pleased with my setup 😎

You should be proud of it. I got the thing about electricians. You basically have to turn off circuit by circuit to see what's on every line and wonder what they were thinking. I added new circuits to the kitchen - seems like they always under-power those, and a new one in the garage to handle the compressor and Shopsmith. Also a couple in the den (the space I've been allotted) - back in the days when I was doing a lot of database work and importing huge files (for the time) it wasn't unusual for me to have at least four computers chugging away and a laser printer or two - the older and bigger power hogs. And a couple more in the attic for ventilating fans and light. My brother in law is a contractor; he actually likes to put lights in the crawlspace in case you have to work under there - which seems inevitable - at least if you are in miserable conditions, you can have light.

Wouldn't mind a bit if the herpes concentration in his throat finally took his voice for good this week. Couldnt happen to a nicer Vol hater. The absolute joy in his voice anytime ANYTHING bad has happened to UT versus Bama, UF , etc is ridiculously unprofessional.
Oh...nevermind he frequently blows calls on air because he actually sucks at his job too...hate this clown. He earned it.

Edit: is it Vern or Gary? Which one of these clowns which have called every embarrassing, painful loss in the 330 CBS games over the years has the whiny, high pitched, smartazz tone and remarks? You know, the one who blows Saban from kickoff to last whistle? I hatem both honestly, but the high pitched whiner is unbearable

Wow! Notre dame at unranked Cal...winless so far this year...Cal is down by 7 at final whistle, throws the ball endzone and 2 different Cal WR have the ball touch their hands while still in the air!!!

Notre dame was a blonde hair from starting O-3. With 2 of those losses vs unranked opponents.

This will, as we all know, do nothing to prevent Notre Dame from being ranked to start next season...Heck if they string together a few wins versus the extremely weak schedule they play, they will probably be ranked top 10 preseason again. I think the only ranked team left on their 9 game schedule is USC....but they are a bad team. That coach is toast. Hope they keep him around for 4 or 5 years of suckage. He is their defensive coordinator from last season. Looks like Beldar Gump out there too...in over his head.

No kidding. I recently wired a smart switch into my outside lights on either side of my garage. To my amazement, the outlet for the living room TV, the garage lights, the entry foyer and the front porch lights were all wired to the same breaker, I was like WTF was this guy thinking?

Sometimes its even in the blueprints. We were finishing up wrapping columns on the picnic shelter at the apt complex i just finished. Covered area with a 16x16 enclosed room. Electrician was a 20yo kid roughing in the structure. It had 6 can lights in the ceiling. 2 rows of 3 lights, about 8 feet apart. The plan showed for him to bring the power feed i to the middle can on 1 side (row of 3) ...then hop it over to center can in other row of 3...then from center cans out to each outside can!!!

I said "dude...aside from using more expensive wire over all...and having to tie more wires together in both center can lights (4 wires in 1 center can right, 3 wires in the other center can...which i know from doing it myself is done inside a TINY metal box close with a screw) so aside from making it 10x as hard to wire or service .. aside from using WAY more expensive wire....if. this series of 6 lights was just wired as a SERIES (think christmas lights, each fixture has 1 wire in and 1 wire out) if it was wired as a series....when 1 of these cheap ass can lights dies, you would know exactly which fixture went bad, because every light AFTER that can would go out.

I asked the kid this...who is a licensed electrician...he said " Hell thats right. Screw this drawing, I aint pulling all that extra wire."

Sometimes plans suck balls. Sometimes electricians suck balls too though.

Okay, I finally know why ESPN has gone to streaming for crap games, you can't pause them or skip a commercial in any way. The only way to skip a commercial is to mute the sound and look away. I hate Disney.

You can skip em on Youtube, but when the actual broadcast commercials come on the channel being tubed, its either the commercial or whatever the camera guys are watching lol

I pay $225/mo for cable and internet. I have 2 SEC network channels of which one is not being used for this game so the suck network can stream it. I like my ability to record a game and pause it and delay it enough to skip by commercials. They owe me some of my money back.

Strom thats really high IMO unless you have and need google fiber type fastest internet. When ours ever gets raised to more than (now) 140 a month (used to be if more than 120) we call Atnt , cable co etc and tell them to come pick up their equipment bc we arent gonna pay that much for tv/net. They 90% of the time offer us a "special 1 year promotion for $99 a month" or similar. When they dont, we switch to another provider and get a 1 year promotion for about same. Its a pain in the butt. Some of yall are in different tax brackets than we are too.. i get that. But paying over 100 a month for that pizzes me off. 200 a month is them taking advantage of good customers IMO.
