Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

If Heupel wants to leave after the support and money we've given him, then see ya.
Again it is just business. If he doesn’t produce all that support and money dries up over night.

Historically there tends to be a draw back to your alma mater. But we’ve all heard that this case is somehow very different and I hope that’s true. But again it’s all just business. More likely like louder said if you’ve got a solid road ahead of you for winning why take on a fixer upper in the same conference. I think OU coming to the SEC works in our favor here.

If Hype keeps this team winning and OU keeps stinking Norman up we may very well see the “Heupel has no love for OU” theory tested. Really hope Danny White has him locked up for the near term but OU has big money donors too

It does make you think that OU might be looking for a coach soon. I'm getting to be sold on Hype ... I had a lot of doubt, so I hope he looks around at the record on coaches who go home and find that there really is no going home again. Johnny Majors wasn't a raving success after leaving Pitt, and Doug Dickey's trip back to FL was a disaster. Then there's Lane's return to USC; a Frosty return to Nebraska - the list goes on and on. I still think great coaches come down more to being in the right place at the right time. When you are in a good place, recognize it, and have the sense to stay there.

Yep. Really hope he paid attention to Nebraska.

Errbody looks happy except what I suspect the lady on your right.
We will have EL or LG draw up the papers.
She enjoyed. She understands what LSU is this year.

Honestly it was a great game experience. In shade. Great temps, low humidity. All lsu fans were in good spirits.
