it makes no sense for it not to be more "intimidating". the seats are right up on the sidelines, never seen it that close all the way around. whenever someone ran out of bounds there was no where for the crowds to go to avoid them. Neyland had some bad areas at the corners of the end zones, but it seemed like both sides the fans were right there. As I said before, that stadium is hot garbage and in dire need of an overhaul. You are correct it's not very intimidating mainly due to the design.

My wife called that out. She said it looked a couple kids combined their erector setsThey just got done with one a few years ago in the south end zone.
As I said before, that stadium looks like an architect barfed up four different stadium pieces and tried to put them together.
Look at it on Google Maps. No side matches.
Complete aside.
At 60 yoa I find myself wanting a more serene daily existence in my retirement than sitting in Orlando traffic for an hour to go 10 miles, only to be greeted by 105 feels like temp when I open the door to step out of the Tesla.
Now, I know I probably can't have a Tesla in the mountains of north Georgia, North Carolina, or thereabouts into Tennessee, but I am flying up to go to Blowing Rock for a few days next month and plan to do a little exploring for a modest sized cabin. Have a client with a place in Blairsville, Ga., says its 90 miles from Atlanta, 90 miles to Asheville, and 90 miles to Chattanooga, so I'll be investing a day of my time in that general vicinity.
Any advice on places to consider?
