^^^ I don't use Saban terms such as that if I can help it. I feel the same way though honestly. I much prefer when we are the underdogs rather than everyone kissing our butts. Last time we were ranked this high (higher actually) we didnt handle it well and got throttled at UGA then for various reasons embarrassed in Columbia. We havent shown yet that we can handle the praise and stay focused...but that was a different team altogether. I am glad we have a bye week to get our crap together before we have to go to Arkansas. Thats a trap game for sure against a desperate team that can score a lot of points. We will handle business though IMO and be ready for gameday in Knoxville vs the Gumps

Unbelievable. Caroline Ellison, Sam Bankman-Fried's former girlfriend, just received 2 years of prison time versus the maximum possible sentence of 110 years.

White collar crime pays a lot better than the blue collar type where the guy has to carry "tools". Apparently prosecutors prefer smoking guns over having to actually work and prove stuff.

Beginning to seriously believe that dealing with the wife when she couldn't walk from point A to point B was actually easier than dealing with the violent mood swings. She's been in a real snit today, and it started when she picked an argument at bedtime last night and then couldn't sleep - which meant she kept me up, too - at least until 5 AM. The big issue is that she wants to drive, and she doesn't see the mood issue as a problem - especially after not having driven in months. Her battery is in my truck to trade in for a replacement tomorrow. Hopefully a trip to a large church parking lot ends in a non-disastrous failure on her part because I'm not about to turn her loose on her own and don't want to be a crash test dummy either.

One lesson learned these last few months is that newer cars drain batteries at an alarming rate when they are just sitting. All those internal devices waiting for a signal from keys and fobs and other keep alive devices are power hogs. One guy making only necessary trips and three battery hungry cars doesn't work well.

I admire your patients and ability to deal with all of that.
