Welp...offense looking like hammered dogsheit as usual today. Same guys that came out and scored 10 points in 5 mins AT UGA cant get a first down against UTEP. Lmao. Granted...its senior day. That near INT on Nicos pass was to a WR Chapman that nobody here has even heard of. Surprised they use these guys early though
Figured we would do everything possible to jump out to a 28-0 lead at halftime before putting in all the slow white guys and practice squad folks...

Heupel won't, but he should sit Nico a series or two. There is zero energy on offense and he needs to get his head straight. Moore for a series can't be any worse.

We will lose to Vandy if our Edge/DE dont keep contain...and quit headhunting driving so deep trying to get sacks. They are NOT doing what they are coached to do. Its football 101...and I played defense thru HS. The number 1 priority on a DE on every snap is to keep contain on the outside. Always. The only exception is if you are running a stunt with a DE/DT twist OR in a 3-4 defense and the OLB plays beyond the outside shoulder of the DE at the LOS such as in a goalline defense. Thats it. Period. Running QBs all season long have run wild on us especially last week because our DE/Edge guys push too far upfield and lose contain. Pavia will run for 150 yards, pass for another 150 and they will beat us next week if it doesnt change. Hes a stud...and the best running QB we have played all year including Milroe.

Moore isnt the QB Nico is. Nobody says he is. I would bet my left nut that either he OR the Elite 11 freshman QB Jake we have could actually hit WIDE OPEN RECEIVERS maybe 50% of the time streaking down the field though.

Again for the 50th fecking TIME..
OVERTHROWING THE DAMN BALL IS THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO. Accurate throw??? TD. Underthrow??? Likely PI call OR a LONG GAIN ON THE CATCH. overthrow the fecking ball by 5 yards all fecking season ?? Suck fecking ass and waste a top5 defense when IF we even had an AVERAGE SEC QB this season we would be 10-1 and ranked in the top5. I am so tired of Nicos bullsheit man.

You're right. Nico is only a RSF, but there is no improvement. That's the troubling part. All kinds of potential, though.

Im gonna quit bitching. Sorry guys. Over Nicos BS though. There is no excuse. Not running the offense well because its complicated and as a freshman the mental part is hard? Understandable. The average HS starting QB in the state of Tennessee that will NEVER play a single snap of college ball anywhere....much less get paid millions to do so at UT....can hit WIDE OPEN WRS running down the field on a 50% or better rate though. Nico is at about 25% on the season...and thats grading on a curve and counting some of them for him that were drops by the WR. He has flat sucked ass and i am over it on the deep balls...which is a HUGE part of our offense.

Nico starts slow. And as the QB goes the offense goes. We saw last week he can get out of the gates at speed but in all but around two games this year he’s started slow. Once he hits his stride he’s fine. Hopefully this is a maturity thing and he figures it out. Hype can’t fix that Nico has to fix it.

Didnt know Bailey was a senior. We will miss him too next year. He had a BIG 2 sack game vs either Bama or FU...and has played well all season. Bailey will be a late round pick or at least an UFA next season and probably make an NFL practice squad. Hes a real hard hitter.

There we GO SQUIRREL.

Nico took a good hit on that run. Maybe he gets settled down now. He has played his best ball this season passing AFTER a good scramble and taking a hit or 2. Maybe it knocks the "nerves" or excess adrenaline out of him. In fairness...its likely adrenaline that causes all the overthrows. I get that. He is still just a freshman and is gonna be a very good QB for us the next couple years. Few things in football are harder to watch than missing wide open TDs though. Lmao. Its just hard to watch man. Nico actually played well the last 2 games coming into this one. Maybe he will peak here at the end of the season. We will have to play well to win next week. Vandy is tough.
