My favorite used to be Hy’s Deli in Chattanooga on Signal Mountain Blvd. it has been closed for almost 30 years now and I still miss it. If I ever get a Time Machine, forget killing Hitler. My first stop is Hy’s Deli

As far as chains go, I agree. All the good ones are pricey these days, but JMs makes a really good sammich IMO.

Seriously? Will have to try them. Theres a place called Wing King around here whose cheesesteaks are just amazing. Marinated steak, black pepper, and melted provolone in large portions. They are Greek owned. Many of the restaurants in Charlotte are Greek owned... much much greater % than actual Greek folks make up the population. They are good cooks though, and have reasonable prices. Now I really want a cheesesteak...

Publix makes a dang good sub. Their bread is much better than JMs.

Thanks for the tip bud. I am a sammich eater for sure. Dont have to worry about someone putting stuff in/on it that I dont like.

My favorite sammich for sure is cheesesteaks though. IMO...the people in Philly that make the Philly Style cheesesteaks with orange cheddar cheese are gross. I like em with provolone which is how they are made over here in NC anyway. Gonna have to get one for the game tomorrow after talking about it so much 😄

Only way to go with a cheesesteak is the orange cheese whiz and provolone and mozzarella all three. Just my opinion.

I've never seen a Qwik Trip in AZ with a kitchen, and there are no Buc ees or WaWa's out here. Arizona is dominated by Circle K as far as gas stations/convenience stores.

I asked my wife what she wanted for Christmas. Sometimes I surprise her. Other times it’s just easier to ask. This year she told me she wants a really nice table saw!

So fellas. Along with a Callaway driver. Looks like I’m getting a new table saw for Christmas. Turning out to be a solid ending for 2024.
