The Cpt gets a 6pack per passenger.
Funny, I was just thinking back. Age limit was 18 at one time and then TN switched to 21, but allowed 19 year olds to be grandfathered..something like that. It was strange buying alcohol at 19 when the legal limit was 21. Had to explain that to the clerks and doormen a few times. They used to have a sign up at stores...If born before...
Seriously, never heard of a 6 Pack license though.
Yep. I turned 18 during the transition period and was grand fathered in. I’d been buying beer since I was 16 anyway. 6’4” playing football and my dirty thin porn stash seemed to have been enough to avoid carding most of the time.Funny, I was just thinking back. I’d wondered where the name came from. Makes sense. BOTH definitions you have make sense frankly. It's for small charter boats, your limited to 6 passengers and under 100 tons.

I’ll admit I’m well behaved in this boat with beer though. Normally don’t crack a pop top till it’s back on the trailer. I still respect the death trap’s ability to rise up and smite me mightily at a moments notice.
It's always safer to wait until the boats on the trailer and your driving home to start drinking.
I'll have a few out on the lake but nothing crazy. It was nice when the kids were under age, we had designated operators built in.
Oh don’t get me wrong I enjoy a cold beer while fishing. And if I could manage to stay below 50 mph guaranteed I wouldn’t worry. But 65+ is just a short blip of the hot foot away and the confidence of 3 or 4 beers while my foot is on that throttle. No bueno. It's always safer to wait until the boats on the trailer and your driving home to start drinking.

No joke. I’ll bet I was only a couple of years older than that when I drove my Dad’s boat under his supervision. I was taking boats out on my own in my early teens. Late teens I was solo piloting high performance pad V Hull bass boats and little run abouts.Hog years ago giving command of the vessel as he goes gets plastered...

The acceleration is scary. I’ll go from just on plane in the low 20’s to 50+ in a handful of seconds and 70+ in another handful of seconds. It’s a death trap.
Lol, yep. I remember the first time I got questioned, "HAS THIS BEEN CHANGED?" no sir, "okay that'll be $1.69". I can't imagine what a 6 pack cost now days, it's got to be close to $10.Remember when you and your buddies would get an exacto (sp?) knife and perform surgery on your greencard license. Like surgery..lol

But... we damn near literally lived on Norris Lake
