If it's not Gruden I will support the coach until they lose my support but I'll be disappointed initially for sure.

We, most of us could support a legitimate hire. Think about it this way.....all the $'s that are being rumored to be offered to Gruden and Staff; any perspective coach knows the $ rumors. This would encourage them to ask for more then their worth. Currie has to address these Grumors for many reasons.

he's thinking it not gruden ... someone currently coaching, and that negotiations with a current sitting coach won't begin until after season is over.

The fact that Gruden hasn't put it to bed yet is the most telling thing to me. The argument that he's not going to comment on it while there's no vacancy is 6 days gone now.

I am thinking the same If he was was using this for leaverage on ESPN or anything else I can understand that but there’s is only so much you can leaverage from a situation and I think it’s way past any of that I don’t see him letting it go this long if there’s no smoke

I also would include Phil in his interview stating he had no idea who was in the mix and wasn’t part of the search .

I just think things are going exactly how Currie wanted them to go and that may not be a bad thing.
