You guys know I'm not an ecred guy. I've been around the block. I don't try to act like some insider. A lot of the Gruden stuff that I have heard has come from multiple sources saying almost the same thing, but I have heard that Petrino is second in line from one.

Yea. I think it will be Gruden. Just the thought of Petrino though. But Del Rio would be someone I like if Gruden didn't work out.

Del Rio would have to be on any list of 5 IMO. Charlie Strong is still my second choice, because I think the guy would eliminate a lot of our natural recruiting disadvantages immediately.

Dude..I have NEVER said I support Dooley. I said I support the team. Dooley happens to be at the helm.. Any coaching change talks only hurt the team RIGHT NOW.

If he could have won just a couple of meaningful games in the conference since he has been here, there would be no talk of change. Btw, don't start with the excuses for him. Dooley plainly stated before the season there would be no excuses this year.

I read a post from another board that put it perfectly. The MSU game was a perfect and realistic barometer of where our program is. It is the kind of game that a program on the rise wins.

I think so. He is an NFL guy and would probably bring in an excellent staff. His situation in Jacksonville was bad.

Which is the main reason I would be ok with Strong..He's not my fav.(obviously) but I could live with it..At least, he would has a winning record..But right now, I'm focused on Gruden until I gave a reason not to.:good!:

Would Petrino fix the revenue problems? I figure that winning cures all to a point, but some fans would find it very hard to support him regardless.

Unfortunately the demand for wins means we will be willing to compromise or morals. So then others have heard the patrino thing.
