Having a discussion that involves Dooley winning the next 2 games is worthless. Any one in their right mind would say if we won either it would be a fluke given the track record.
IMO beating either doesn't undo the last 2 1/2 years. Thats like saying you cheated on your wife for a couple of years, but this weekend you took her some where nice, bought her a car, and was a dream husband so she should keep you. She would still tell you to kick rocks, and she keeps the car.

Knowing that they "want" someone and actually getting someone is not "Knowing" its gonna happen.
We have 2 games against top 10 teams coming up.
Look at it this way.....If you were the AD, and had a chance for whatever reason to make the absolute dream hire....a real once in a lifetime hire, could you personally afford to pass it up no matter your personal preference. Would you want to be known as THAT GUY if the word got out you'd missed?
In that situation, nothing else matters when the window of opportunity is open.
So for those of you who have "heard" things, what are the odds right now? 50/50?
I agree, however, after calling a conference with the UT version of the Warren Commission, (I'll call it the Gruden Commission) I believe we are beyond the wanting part. Even beyond the talking part.
Not looking for ecred cause I don't care. The others in the Gruden Commission don't care either.
