Not to be that guy. But I was worry about how that would turn out in the short term when it happened. It was worst than I expected, but I didn't see the sunshine some did.

Hence point 2 in my post.

If Hart wanted to be really sincere about keeping them until or through 2013 he would have written it in the contracts.

Well thanks there volfan4evr. Some of us may have small post counts but we post when we have meaningful info. I've been around a long time, and you would be surprised who some of the posters with small post counts really are.

Some mighht even have some pretty damn good connections, or some may be the connection.....[

There is no chance Dooley is retained. Unless you want record low attendance next year, a team that has lost all respect for Dooley, and a pissed off fanbase. No chance he returns.

Doubt it. If the wheels are moving it may be to a point where there would be no turning back no matter what. Even if Dooley and company rattle off 6 straight wins and go to a decent bowl, the sting of never beating (and likely never will beat) UF, UA, and UGA would be enough to can him anyway. I don't see how we could even be competitive with UA in the forseeable future.

Regardless, if Gruden really is lined up and waiting to go, you take him no matter what happens.

The point is I've faced the reality that anything that gives Dooley some momentum, and a shot at returning next year isn't good for us in the long run. I'd much rather be good in the future than win one game right now.

I'm always clowning. Too many people are too serious. And I only called out one poster, who tells so many tales, he loses track and gets mad when he gets busted.

I would hope, but with what Sparty is saying, that may not be the case. We'll see.
