OK who's been trolling Basilio . After a caller talked about the stuff we've been hearing for weeks ,he now sounds like gruden III . So who's been trollin .

Unfortunately, there could be a lot of truth to this statement and if true it would put a dent in the credibility of others in here saying an MOU has been signed.

Jon Gruden listening to an Arky offer and an MOU being signed with TN would fit the definition of "mutually exclusive"

That's my point. If he signed a MOU contact with Arkansas would be over

I think people need to take the ARKY offer serious. What happens if Gruden demanded more than we are willing to give? ARKY contacted him and gave him what he wanted. ARKY would not just throw out an offer unless Gruden has discussed the position with them.

Here is how serious I take the Arky rumor

Do we believe the reports that Arkansas made a formal offer to gruden yesterday???

Who cares if they made an offer?
Doesn't mean he's gonna accept it.
The only thing that connects Arkansas and Gruden is insanity and paranoia.
Name one legitimate source who has said Gruden is interested in Arkansas?
Link, source???
None!

It will be UT or the NFL.
How many times do you have to be told this, before it sinks in?

Ok, what the heck happened to my beloved Gruden thread? I read the first two pages this morning and did not see any familiar faces except for Fade Route who is not the familiar face I was hoping for.

No offense man, but this doesn't make any sense.

Without any solicitation whatsoever, I can have my attorney draft and submit a contract offer to Jon Gruden to do anything, like say, mow my lawn.

I don't have to get approval to make him an offer. If things worked like that, nothing would ever get done.

Oh, and they could offer him 10mil a year and he still would not be the coach of Arkansas. Period.

*SIGH* Johnson City being repped well today...

What I find interesting here in JC is that all the local guys have said from day one that no way does CJG come to UT, yet at the first report of an offer from Arky they can see him there with no problems. What is wrong with people in the media. Is it so hard to believe? There are many more reasons for UT to be chosen over Arky and when it all boils down, I don't think money is one of them.

I promise you that that Gruden's decision is not even remotley all about money.

It is about the place he and his family want to be, and getting the assurences he will get the resources needed to win at the school he is selecting.

Arky could offer 2M more a year IMO and he will still go to TN as long as we deliver everything else he wants.

There is no contact with Arkansas. They don't need Jon Gruden to approve of them submitting an offer.

Don't any of you find it odd that Arkansas' offer was made public? The day after we fired Dooley?

They can offer anybody anything and it doesn't mean anything.

Butch Jones or Tommy Tubbs will be the coach at Arkansas.
