Peterson would not do well in the bible belt with his religious beliefs from a recruiting stand point.

College football is the official religion of the 'Bible Belt'. lol I see more raised hands and 'hallelujahs' on game days than Sunday mornings.

I've been a longtime reader of this board and I've had no need to post until now, when a friend of mine (who works in the AD's office) sent me this.

I think it's about time to put this thread out of its misery.

I like the idea of a generic "Head Coach Search" thread. It's clear the Gruden thing has run its course.

RIP, Hopes for Chuckie.

you trying to kill our dream?

you killed crunchusmaximus' dream too, didn't you...

I only care about winning games without NCAA trouble. If we can't land Gruden and Petrino is the guy Im fine with that. I do think there are better options in between but hey Petrino will be thankful for a second chance this big. He knows there isnt another job bigger than this one in the future. The NFL will never come after him the way he left the Falcons. As for someone said Stoops? How much is his buyout? I see no way Tennessee pays Dooleys buyout and another BCS school conference coach with a huge buyout. Gruden would even be cheaper up front.

Yeah, uh... That reads like a moderately educated person trying hard to sound like a big wig. Too much internet thesaurus going on in that letter.

Not hating just how would someone get ahold of this even if they work in the AD. And your name is heartbreak warfare haha makes me suspicious.

I'm sure that with matters of this nature, most serious communications would be handled in person. Email is too easy to be hacked or fall into journalist hands to potentially leak it to the public. I'm sure you can understand our skepticism.
