Not if he's been muzzled. He's new media. Two weeks ago he was the first local media guy talking in a positive direction about Gruden. It stopped cold last week, and he has spent time overly reflecting it since. Now he's making fun of "booster" talk.
The really funny thing is, when someone calls in who is obviously well informed Ainge squirms. It happened about 5 mintes ago.[/QUOTE]
I did notice that but just can't imagine he would risk his rep. Wouldn't he be better off to just not mention JG?
How is he risking his "rep"? He is reporting what he has been told.
Smokey, remember how I call posters seagulls for rolling in here and causing craziness? I was a seagull this morning wit that tony b stuff. It won't happen again!

That's what I'm saying. there is a HUGE difference between being muzzled and told not to talk about Gruden anymore and coming straight out and talking about Gruden by saying over and over that he isnt coming.
looks like Boro has called his shot yet again...he said Ainge was being reeled in on his info, and sure enough
Ainge doesn't want to discuss it at all now...
:hi: Hats off to ya Boro for keeping it real...
I look at as this. All of this includes MNF, ESPN, the University of Tennessee which is bigger than the Ainge show, so he knows to keep his job, he knows to keep quite. I think he went out to far as to report Gruden was coming when everyone wanted it quite, now he has been told to shut his mouth and now he is! JMOHe is saying Gruden is not coming to UT. He probally said it 10 times today alone. Some on here are saying it is a smoke screen but I believe it is what he belives.

Look, I am only speculating on Ainge based upon what I do know. I can only guess he is either overplaying his denial, or he's been asked to enforce the view that Gruden is not coming publicly. Or if its fits your view he's being honest, and Gruden is not coming.
I have reason to believe the latter to be inaccurate.
