I would say that the percentage of people that don't want Gruden to come to UT is very small.:twocents:

I have heard several people talk this way. That we need a proven COLLEGE head coach and not take a risk with Gruden. I say what is the risk? At worst we get tons of pub and a whole bunch of recruits. I think Gruden just has "IT" though and we will win big.

I agree totally,Wilson..:good!:

I never was completely off, just that something happened that made it go from a verbal agreement to a refusal to sign an outline of terms. This concerned me greatly, still does. I am not one of those that is saying "OMG he is coming". I am better than 50-50 now as I said before, conversations this morning have reinforced that position. Apparently the snag hit is one that can be overcome.

Dude I am a fan lucky enough to have a job where a lot of people talk to me about all sorts of things. The nature of it means a lot of UT people are amongst those I talk to a lot. Those include current and former players, alumni, boosters, and members -support staff of the AD. I am not reporting as a journalist, but as a fan that loves the Vols. Bottom line is I report what I hear, and what I hear is that I base my opinions on. I do not live and breathe by the absolute literal basis in known fact of anything I am told, and only post the 3-5% that I actually put credence in.

Good to hear sounds promising.

Think they learned this from Fulmer?

I loved what bcarter said. "Once Dooley is publicly fired, microphones are gonna be shoved in Grudens face left and right." Just two games left, let Dooley finish and take these two weeks to put together a package Gruden cant turn down.

Gonna repost while i got some other "inside info" people here, i have two confirmations on the notes ive taken, still e-mailing for more confirmations on my notes, lurtz109@yahoo.com

Looking for DTO, OldVol, etc. Giving copies to any who ask, will post after more confirms.

He said he doesn't think he will put up with all the BS that a coach has to put up with to coach at Tennessee and will stay 1-2 years and be gone. Don't shoot me, I do not agree with him.

Thats a valid concern.

We have alot of problems that need to be corrected within the AD and University.

I'm just ready for it to be over. I'm too OCD for all of this uncertainty. But waiting definitely makes sense. Even if we don't like it.

100 percent down with that plan VolMaster!

I am certainly not one of the Grudski fanatics, But at this point I do beleive he is the guy that could excite, and unify our fractured fanbase. I just hope if he comes that I have been wrong about my misgivings.

I feel like if John gruden really wasn't interested he would have come out and said no but he is staying quiet like he really is thinking about it but I don't know I am just speculating.
