If something as big as Jerry Jones flying in Jon Gruden to be announced as Arkansas new HC was happening, on a slow moving Wednesday afternoon, ESPN would be all over it.

Anybody hear anything on ESPN?

Hart is over there Sunday calmly watching a girls soccer match or whatever after starting 0-6 in SEC and so many fans up in arms. Not to mention all those empty seats. How would he have survived in the business this long if he didn't have a plan? Now, what that plan is?? Since Gruden is the ONLY name that has gotten any traction I'm going with it.

This! If they were announcing something the media would be all over it by now.... 104.5 in Nashville just had an Arkansas media member and he was still speculating about the search… If he knew something he would plugging his website or column about the press conference.

Yea, everyone already knew Smith was an interim. If Gruden was planning on allowing himself to be announced today, why would Arky not let the cat out of the bag? What does AD Long and the school have to lose?

Jimmy "I have no sources anymore" Hyams just said that he was told Gruden did discuss the job with UT but he wanted a 10 yr guarantee/$5 million per and $4 million for his assistants. Hyams then said "and Tennessee isn't going to pay that kind of money".

I don't know if he was told that or it's his assumption.

My brother called me flipping out saying campus was electric with Gruden talk. I called BS, but the same thing seems to be happening here.

Rumors about sightings and done deals.

He even claimed he thought he saw him.

Also a weird one about it being a done deal and Gruden pressuring the AD to go ahead and announce it because his family is sick of the speculation.

I need some answers people :)

I seriously doubt that Gruden was on campus with as quiet as he has been. Arkansas people are psycho and even their insiders believe it is not Gruden. Gruden controls the time frame, but the one thing I gather is his time frame is not Wednesday, November 14th...TIFWIW.
